Femhrt Drug and Medication User Reviews

My doctor prescribed Femhrt when I started having hot flashes and night sweats. I was 52 years old and becoming very irritable. It worked wonders. No more hot flashes and night sweats. My doctor did tell me that this medicine may cause cancer if taken over a long period of time. So after 6 months of taking Femhrt, I stopped. I was back to my old happy self, no more hot flashes or night sweats. I was really thankful for Femhrt.

I was having a hot flash every hour on the hour..I know have maybe 1 or 2 a day. My only concern is a little weight gain.

Was getting 20 plus severe hot flashes a day. Been on it for 2.5 weeks and I am down to 1-3 a day and they are not as severe as before taking Femhrt. Took a while to get in my system. Feeling normal again.

have been on for two months, for hot flashes & nite sweats. After a week gone and i felt normal again. did have some vaginal bleeding for about two weeks and shared it with my doctor and was told it was a normal side effect. It has made me feel like a normal female!!!

so far very good,,,I was wondering if anyone on here who uses this product is having problems with their vision? I know one of the side effects is "changes in vision"..I was told by my eye doctor as we get older our vision changes..Hopefully it's due to my aging and not FEMHRT..not to sound vain but now hotflashes have subsided, I can go back wearing my makeup..lol

Previously I had constant flashes and night sweats. After three days on this medicine they totally DISSAPEARED! I felt great! Now after two weeks I am bleeding. It's scary! Have to go back to the. doc. I'd hate if she took me off of this. It's the only thing that works, so far.

My hot flashes have lessened a great deal.

I've been on Femhrt for about five years. Prior to that my hot flashes were literally EVERY hour - which was intolerable while I was at work. I previously used black cohosh and soy supplements which helped for about a year or so. While taking the Femhrt, I've felt great and been able to sleep well. I'm in the midst of tapering off because of a possible TIA (pre-stroke warning). Already I'm having difficulty sleeping due to night sweats. I'm not happy about coming off of the Femhrt, but I have a strong family history of stroke.

menopause

ASOLUTELY Love it!!!!! Hotflashes stopped! Energy is back!! I feel like myself again!!

I entered into menopause when I was 43 years old. I have an auto immune disorder, which worsened early on in menopause. I have been post menopausal for 5 years. I chose not to take HRT because I knew it would set me back. Recently I started having increased pelvic pain. I assumed it was due to my history with endometriosis. My doctor thought taking HRT could possibly help relieve my symtoms. After 2 days on Fmhrt, the hot flashes returned.I have not had them in quite some time now. I also became very moody and anxious and extremely fatigued.I felt like I was in peri menopause.I immediately stopped the medication. I have now started to have scant vaginal bleeding.....very sorry I took this.

i just started today. I was taking something else, bleeding has not stopped for over 1 month.

I started taking Femhrt 2 years ago at age 48. My hot flashes stopped within days. However, I have started having hot flashes again. Femhrt seems to have lost it's effectiveness on me! Next visit to my gyn, I will discuss other options.

Relieved most of the hot flashes. Ocassionally, still have night sweats.

I started taking Femhrt after trying other hormone treatments which had unwanted side affects. It elimiated my Menopausal symptions and seems to help keep me feeling good.

I started hormone replacement therapy at the age of 42 because of severe hypothyroid disease which "messed up" my hormone balances causing continual post-menopause symptons. I tried to discontinue the hormone replacement in my late 50's, about the time menses ceased. Even though I did it very slowly, I ended up back where I was at age 42. My Gyn. had me start Femhrt at this time. When the report on the dangers of hormone replacement was released, I sat down with my Gyn. to discuss quality of life w/ Femhrt vs. my own personal family history for breast cancer--none. I decided at that time that quality of life was more important for me. The emotional roller coaster I ride without it puts extreme stress on my husband and our relationship. Now at almost age 65 I have concerns about breast cancer. I will soon try once again to very slowly discontinue Femhrt. But should I experience the same post-menopause symptoms I will stay on them. I am so grateful that for now, anyway, Femhrt is considered safer than the estrogen used in the study
