Nexlizet (bempedoic acid/ezetimibe) "Have been on Nexlizet for 7 weeks. Things were going well up until about the fourth week, then started to have muscle and ligament pain in my lower back. A few days later, started to have stomach pains and a bit of brain fog. I had blood work done, and my LDL went from 94 to 62. Doc was very happy with the results. Other than my LDL, which has never been above 95, my cholesterol numbers have been good my whole life. A heart attack 17 years ago, with no cause determined, put me on this path of never-ending cholesterol-lowering drugs, with all having severe side effects.
