"Campho-Phenique is the best medicine I've used for cold sores. I've had them all my life. I've tried Abreva, but it didn't work as well. Campho-Phenique, if I put it on at the first signs of tingling, it never forms a blister. I also use it as a lip moisturizer. It's also good for insect bites. I would recommend this product over the rest, and it's a lot easier on the wallet as well."
