Geodon (ziprasidone) "My daughter has autism and ADHD, she has been extremely violent from a baby. Specialists had her on Risperdal, which did help initially, then they added different antidepressants and also Ritalin. Once she started on the Zeldox, it was nothing short of a miracle for us. After a few weeks, she is functioning like a 'normal' child. We cannot believe it. Even strangers come up to us to say how good our daughter is, as they have seen her before. I know that there is no 'cure' for autism, but after years and years of animal-like behavior and violence, I can honestly say it's like a miracle for us. I just hope and pray that it lasts. She has experienced dystonia with it, and we have reduced it, but it's like it has flicked a switch on in her brain."
Geodon (ziprasidone) "Low dose was very activating. Loved the energy and motivation. Wasn't enough to help with symptoms though. Increased dose was very sedating, but helped alot. I have aspergers, PTSD, social anxiety, and panic disorder. This med Increased libido, motivation, desire to socialize, ability to organize, moderately decreased depression but not very helpful for panic/anxiety. At any dose was unable to relax most of the time. I got a rash on my scalp and severe cystic acne on my face, shoulders and back that worsened as time went on so I discontinued."
Geodon (ziprasidone) "The doctor prescribed geodon 20mg at night for my 8 year old daughter. She has autism and a mood disorder. She has been on this medication for about a week and I am stopping it. She has became very agitated and restless. As of this evening she has become severely depressed and sobbing I over everything. It breaks my heart seeing her like this. I would never recommend this medication for any child."
Geodon (ziprasidone) "We tried Risperidol, worked at first, but the weight gain was horrible. Then we tried Abilify. Every time it was given, the first 30 minutes or longer were pure aggression. Finally, Geodon/Ziprasidone was prescribed. A miracle happened. We noticed the difference immediately. Started at a low dosage and have increased the dosage per mg as needed through the years. My son, who is now 21, has been on it since 2017. I have no complaints and wished we found it sooner."

"I love this med it works really well. I have been on 40mg for I think 6 or 7 years now and it works well, I feel less cluttered in my brain and see less figures. I also notice that my service dog is still on high alert for stuff I need help with but is able to rest more with other issues helping me but with episodes that are not as bad. I was off it for a while due to no way to get to the doctor at the time but am now back on it. Right now I get super sleepy on it but know that will get better soon it did before. I don't mind the sleepiness since I take mine before bed after my husband goes to sleep and after my bath. It has been good because I have had major insomnia lately so this side affect is helping me get on a better sleeping schedule. Not bad since I take it at times where I can wake up at a good time still"
