It became EXTREMELY clear that the onset of these side effect correlated exactly to when I began taking Xyzal. I can never sleep through the night without being awakened with uncontrolable intense craving for sweet food which represents a striking change in my otherwise healthy eating behaviour.Consuming this sweet junk food, has thrown my entire system off ballance, during the day, causing bloating, stomache ache, constipation, acne, memory loss, lack of focus, listlisness, feeling exhausted and agoraphopic all day. Regularly consuming poisenous junk food is for me, extremely dangerous, as previously I have had CBGx2 and currently have an ldl=200. Xyzal,for me now becomes a life threatening medication. I finally put the piece together. I will NEVER take this drug again. It is essential I avoid all drugs correlated with weight gain for obvious reasons! I do not want a second heart attack as chances are that is usually the last one.

Worked for pain, but side effects intolerable.

Started my daughter on trileptal after her 2nd seizure. She did very well and had no more seizure activity. Couple of side effects though: Extremely tired at the end of the day. She would suddenly hit a brick wall and you'd better find a place for her to lay down! and the acne was bad (especially for a 10 year old). Dermatologist helped some. She also didn't seem quite as "sharp" as she had previously been although she still got all A's at school (Yeah!) She was approved to be weaned 2 months ago. She is off but now seems to getting migraines about once a week. Has anyone experienced this before?

have gradually reduced the portion of lamictal after hearing magnesium supplement can cure seizure.now after 1 wk w/o lamictal and on magnesim supplement alone I feel fine. the side effects are dissapearing

After the first night of taking this medicine I started feeling muscle aches and chills. Within an hour a had a fever. I didnt think the medication would have done that to me so I went to sleep woke up feeling better and went to work. Around 11 am I took it again because I was getting ready to eat lunch. By 1115 I started having SOB and extreme nausea. I started sweating and my heart was racing and fluttering. I thought I was gonna die. My job called 911 and I was taken out on a stretcher. When I told the Doctor at the hospital I think it was a reaction to the Pepcid he said no one really has a reaction to Pepcid. What a jerk he was because the symptoms I had were ones described as severe side effects on the paper from the pharmacy. So obviously people have experienced it. I will never take it again in life.
