I started taking Femara which only lasted for 3 months. I had severe side effect such as body pain, confusion, difficulty getting up in the morning and walking. I would hobble around the house for 2-3 hours before I could really stand up straight and walk normally. My joints hurt so bad I could not sleep at night.

I've been taking 75mg for about 4 years now. -thats as high of a dose that I could handle without bad side effects. (If your having bad side effects at a high dose, talk to your doctor about lowering it). Up until now the medicine has done wonders for my anxiety and depression. Before taking this medicine I couldnt leave the house for about 2 years, suffering from panic attacks that controlled my life. The only real down fall was the low sex drive and unability to orgasim. But now the drug seems to be wearing off. I'm starting to have panic attacks again and anxiety and racing thoughts that make me feel like I'm gonna go crazy. I would really like to get off this medicine and switch to something else- Hopefully something that will take care of my anxiety and not kill my sex drive. I'm really scared to get off the drug though. My advice would be to those seeking info about the drug. IS that all drugs work differently for everyone. Make sure you start at a low dose and work your way up.

In the beginning I did not experience any major side effects. Over the course of my 6 years on this pill, I had a combination of negative side effects, many severe. I was very miserable while on this pill but it did do it's job in prevention of pregnancy. I have switched to Yaz and am doing much better, I'm like my old self again.

I'm only in the first month but I have had breakthrough bleeding, probably because I switched from a long time use of the patch so I figure it is normal. Other than that I have had no other side effects from Ovcon 35.

This medication put me in a very dangerous state of mind though not at its peak in my blood, rather in the morning after having taken it multiple times through the prior day. I assess my rage side effect as being some type of withdrawal from Seroquel as opposed to a direct effect of the drug. This happened only this morning and I have yet to speak with my DR. Fortunately, I am writing this from home and not from a prison cell. I would recommend people pay close attention to their moods and self control while getting used to this medication.
