i have suffered from all of the side effects as other people commentingon the pill. myself and my boyfriend were doing research into this pill as i have felt awful the past 6months.i have had headaches on and off during the pill break i have a headache for the whole 7 days. i dont really have a sex drive, ive become moody and self concious. i have had anxiety attacks for the past 6months where i think that im going to die for no reason what so ever which is not like me at all.this is contributing towards some really weird dreams that are quite disturbing. i have to agree with others my boobs have actually become bigger but my weight gain is rediclous i used to always been between 8 and a half and 9 stone now im over 10. ive become depressed and find it hard to get motivated. ive been taking this pill for about 5 years but have only really noticed the side effects in the past 6months to a year!! i'm going to switch pills as it is rediclious and is effecting my way of life!!!

My 2 1/2 year old daughter was put on this medicine because she was very close to being a failure to thrive. She would gag on food constantly and therefore, not eat. This medicine, at least for the last 3 weeks has increased her appetite and interest in food. It has however, made her more iritable and cranky. A side effect I will gladly trade to see her grow and gain some weight.

When I got the Lupron shot, I was not informed of all the side effects. It was not until after I found this website that I learned about how much it would truly effect me. Lupron has changed my everyday life, I have hot flashes, cant sleep AT ALL, I am constantly worn out, and mood swings like I have never experienced before in my life! Even though I have so many things hindering my everyday life, THE PAIN HAS STOPPED! Which makes it all worth it to me. I went to my family doctor and explained I was on the shot and he put me on Cymbalta (which helps a ton!). I would recommend this treatment, just make sure you are prepared to deal with the side effects.

My 22 month old was prescribed QVAR 40 as an alternative to Flovent. After reading the terrbile side effects of Flovent, I was happy to try QVAR instead. I gave my son 2 puffs of QVAR once a day, each morning for only FOUR DAYS. Starting the first day, his behavior was clearly different. My son is such an easy-going, always happy boy. He almost never cries. Even when he is teething all of his molars and has a bad cold, he hardly complains. The first day on QVAR, he cried all day long. He was so easily upset, very irritable. I had never seen him so WEEPY. He was just crying ALL DAY LONG, inconsolable. I have never seen anything like it. We continued QVAR for a few more days to see if this crying would improve, but it did not. My son WEEPED, crying for FOUR DAYS. The QVAR was the only change in his routine, so this was clearly an effect of the drug. NOT ACCEPTABLE. I will never give him this medecine ever again.

So I suffer with silent reflux and I initially purchased Prilosec. After a day or two of taking that. I woke up with chest pain in my chest. I didn’t realize it was the the side effect of the meds until I weened off.I thought I had possible GERD because I was experiencing symptoms. Long story short. I had weird feeling in chest and arms and had to call paramedics. I made a phone appt with a gastroenterologist. I explained to him how I felt the Prilosec caused these issues. He claimed that’s not common and suggested I take Pepcid. This is where the nightmare truly begin. I end up taking 2 pills of 20mg as he prescribed to take 40mg a day. That same night I started feeling discomfort. The next morning my hands and joints started cramping up and the tingles and discomfort was back in my left hand and arm. It felt like sign of a heart attack so I started to panic. My hand became cold, numb, jittering, shaking. I basically prayed to God and had to ride out the horrible feeling that developed. It was no doubt this was from the Pepcid. I will never take this mess again ! I was relieved to find this site and saw how others shared similar symptoms.These doctors should be ashamed of themselves but they are in the business of pharmaceuticals meant to destroy. Going forward I will deal with my silent reflux the natural way and disregard anything these doctors suggest cuz most of the time they are wrong with their diagnosis.
