The only side effects that i experienced was spotting in between periods. To the point where it disrupted daily activites. I used to have horrible cramps while on my period, and i no longer have any. Helped alot with regualting period and pain during periods.

OTC and OTC generics have worked for me with no bad side effects.I would be VERY careful of TriNessa though - 1.3 million packs were recalled back in Feb. 2006 because "The active Norgestimate component of TriNessa tablets fails stability assay." I have tried to get off this medication several times, but the side effects are so bad I couldn't handle it. I am down to the lowest dosage, but would like to get stop taking it. If anyone has successfully stopped taking this medication please send me and email with how you did it and the symptoms.

I've been on Geodon for a little over two weeks now. My doctor started me on two 40mg pills a day, one with breakfast, the other with dinner. After a week, he upped my dosage to three pills and told me to take them all at night because they could make me drowsy. I made an appointment with him after about two weeks total on the drug because despite the fact that my depression was better, I was having trouble sleeping and could not shake a 'tired, but wired' feeling. He suggested I take the medicine all in the morning. On the second day after this suggestion, I had to leave work, about an hour after my morning dose. I felt disconnected, dizzy and very, very tired. I had to pull over on the highway on my way home because I felt as if I were going to pass out and throw up. I did finally make it home, but the side effects persisted. I can only describe the next few hours as excruciating. It was as if I had restless leg syndrome throughout my whole body. I just could not sit still

don't recommend it to anyone except for 1-2 weeks. It has too many side effects. There have been studies done that link it with hearing loss, but to be fair the studies also said that happened to people taking large amounts over a long period of time.
