I took 1/2 tsp of Children's liquid Claritin once a day in the morning. My allergies cleared up immediately with minimal side effects.

I started taking Naproxen late afternoon yesterday on a full stomach. I had no stomach/ nausea issues with the first pill, but began to feel rather anxious and disoriented 15 to 20 minutes after taking it. The rest of the evening I felt off with anxious thoughts. I took a second pill before bed thinking it would make me sleepy & reduce anxiety- unfortunately did the opposite...I've been up all night with a dry mouth & racing heart. My pain has reduced but the side effects have been pretty alarming. I don't know that I'll be continuing with/ taking this medication again.

How many other people can confirm similar side effects as myself after taking this medication? Can other posters please state in more detail in the symptoms they have experienced after taking this medication?

It has "muted" the stomach pain (sometimes moving to my chest, under my arm pits, and even to my back). I wake up each day without the pain, which has kicked in after 3-4pm every day for 10 years (ruined half my life during that time). At night, it feels like an anvil attached to my ribs or a medieval press contraption. So I'm willing to stay with the side effects of the drug, but for how long? I suspect my condition is neuropathic or somatic. I can't find a physician who knows anything about it, or even registers recognition of a disorder they've seen before. Doctors are not the answer. And the older you get, the less interesting you are to them when you "present." I simply need to be more persistent and aggressive until I find the "right" therapist or doctor. My new insurance company permits only 2 pills per day, which forced me to take 2 100mg capsules, a higher dose than I believe I can tolerate. I'd like to know the latest to expect the full effect from the drug, so that I can target that date for making a decision whether to stop or continue.

I got prescribed Vyvanse while home over Thanksgiving break, and during finals, it seemed like a miracle drug. My grades improved, I lost weight, could spend 24 straight hours in the library, I cared about school and want to get work done. I was started at 30mg, and I took one in the morning, one around 2pm, and depending on how late I was staying up, sometimes one around five or six. After the first month, my doctor upped the dosage to 50mg, and the negative side effects started. I've had at least three serious respiratory issues since December, and I'm in a never ending cycle of CHRONIC insomnia. I had to start taking Trazadone (50mg) in order to get ANY sleep. I would routinely stay up the whole night, and then crash in the early afternoon after feeling like I was on an extreme caffeine and sugar high. Even now, if I accidentally don't take my sleeping pills, I'm wide awake until dawn, regardless of "fixing" my internal clock. Honestly, if I didn't have the insomnia, I wouldn't care about the other side effects. I've been experiencing asthma/diabetes like symptoms, including tingling throughout my whole body, INSANE thirst (I drink at least 60 ounces of water daily, sometimes over 100 ounces), dry mouth, coughing and extreme shortness of breath at night, and I've recently been struggling to breathe. I've been tested for asthma multiple times, and it's always been negative. I feel especially jittery if I haven't eaten recently, which, with Vyvanse, is always an is
