I absolutely love Orth-cyclen. i have never had mood swings, depression, weight gain or anything and I have been on this pill since I was 17. I have never gotten pregnant on it. When I did chose to have my daughter I quit taking the pill and was pregnant within 2 months. I didn't have any side effects or any changes when I came off the pill. After I had my daughter I began taking the pill again and I have had the same results. I am very satisfied with this birth control. I take my birth control first thing in the morning. I leave it sitting by my tooth brush so I don't ever forget to take it. I have never experienced any nausea and I take it on an empty stomach everyday.

Joint pain, hot flashes, insomia, complete absence of libido, wt gain. Also, have had intermittent bilateral ankle swelling, wondering if anyone else experienced this side effect.

horrible product, i think something should be done about it being available to the public. Or these side effects should be listed.

Wish I knew if it's actually dangerous - the side effects (at least of 1gm) are worth the quick cure but aieeegh...wonder what I'm doing to myself besides having a couple uncomfortable hours?

Have to go to bed early..very tired and sleepy. I do best with the 5's and an oral medication. 10's make me deathly sick even far after the first "getting use to it" month. Helps my A1C a lot. Food just doesnt taste the same..full all the time. Losing zero weight. On and off the medication twice now. Fearful of pancreatitis but doctor says it's mainly happening in people who have high triglicerite tests. Not sure sometimes if evening vomiting is a side effect or if I should be concerned about the pancreatitis. Usually severe abdom. pain goes with the pancreatitis though, and I have none of that. Medicine worth the effort although inconvenient at times.
