I spoke with my doctor about the lack of desire to have sex, as it was becoming an issue with my fiance. She assured me that although this is a less common side effect it should go away with the second shot. Well, the lack of sex drive hasn't gone away and to top it off my mood swings are out of control. I have been severely depressed and lately have been having suicidal thoughts. I will not be getting my next shot.

I had to go up very slowly on lamictal, and it produced feelings of euphoria for the first few months. I also had to deal with fainting spells for a few months, generally after I had not had a good nights sleep. As a side effect of lamictal, I have very mild acne, and am more likely to develop cysts. I had some problems with very vivid dreams, which went away once I decreased the dose from 175 to 100 sucessfully. The tremor which I developed when going on lithobid also subsided after decreasing the lamictal.

I have had over 29 gallons of this liquid nightmare that I like to call 'DRANO' in a jug! I have Idiopathic Gastroparesis now for almost 7 years that shut down my colon function so to stay from being toxic I had to drink this stuff until a week ago when I had a horrible allergic reaction that effected the meninges in my head-lining/brain. I would NOT recommend this medication to anyone even those doing it for a surgery or a colonoscopy because there are many other preps with no hidden or long term side effects of Poly Glycol overdose. I suggest mag-citrate over the counter or Miralax and Gatorade. Most hospitals and doctors are backing off of using this toxic stuff. If you ever feel the salt sensation in your head please stop drinking it asap and call your doctor. You too could be having a severe allergic reaction. If your pulse rises and blood pressure drops you too could be having a severe allergic reaction. I am LUCKY to be typing this and if I can save someone else from this nightmare of medications to ease my head swelling then so be it.

Has brought my blood pressure down into the 120-70's so am happy. side effects have to get up several times at night to go to the bathroom. Have flushing of face Doctor not sure about this, ask to stop taking supplements for couple of weeks. Over all quite happy with results.

The first 2 months I bled every 2 weeks. The third month was a short period and by the 4th month I didn't have a period at all. I literally thought I was going crazy or something was seriously wrong with me because I felt horrible. It wasn't until recently that I realized it was this BC pill that was causing me to experience all the ridiculous symptoms... I was literally exhausted but couldn't get to sleep. Once I fell asleep I was up 2 hours later. Definitely felt depressed and sooo angry all the time. Hair came out in clumps in the shower. I seemed to be nauseous quite a bit and had diarrhea almost every day. It is just not worth taking the pill with these side effects. I have never reacted to BC pills like this before.
