I've listed my experience having taken Crestor for five months as side effect - free, yes. But please know readers, that I am one of those people that can take anything for anything and have it work. This is primarily due to my having never taken anything, other than the occasional asprin for a severe headache from hangover, and I do mean occasional. I ride out an illness taking nothing along the way. I am also one of those that will not read the fine print for fear of anything psychologically induced - in the way of side effect recognition. I would not recommend, nor would I condemn the use of this drug, I simply have not been taking it long enough. Reduction 45 points in the past five months to 195. I am 48, weight 235 and am 6'2". Diet and exercise.. both of which I have yet to take seriously. Thanks.

Worked like a charm. I havent had a cigarette in just over a month. Side effects suck though, although they may be cause by nicotine withdrawls.

I have chronic pain for 2-1/2 years. I took Lyrica with great results but found side effects irritable but I have given it a bum steer. Other medications e.g. narcotics were causing more problems than I thought. Back to the Lyrica and I can now survive on my own.

My mother was prescribed this without my knowledge.I noticed the tremors and heartbeat issue immediately, she also has A-FIB.The other side effects worsened over time, she is forgetting how to do her favorite activities now and people's names. Very alarming for me.None of the nursing home staff will listen or care so I am removing this patch at every opportunity. The longer she goes without it the more her mind comes back. Ten months into taking Fosamax I started having stomach pain. The pain eventually drove me into the OR at a local hospital. The attending doctor suggested that I was having an attack of gastritis...I was then put on Prevacid (which I later found out inhibits the absorption of calcium...wow) to reduce the acid in my stomach. However, my stomach pain never quite went away...so I went online to find more info on Fosamax. My research lead me to many sites regarding the terrible side effects of this drug, including digestive problems associated with it. I decided that enough is enough, and I took myself off of Fosamax, after all I know my body better than anyone else. I will continue to take calcium tablets with vitamin D twice daily, drink and eat calcium rich foods, as well as, do weight bearing exercises 3 to 4 times a week. After all I have lived 57 years and I have never had a broken bone, I'll take my chances with the rest of my life without Fosamax. It has been four months since I s
