For Glaucoma, Open Angle "This has been the best medication for my glaucoma. Stings a little, but has controlled my pressures. I have not been able to use any of the drops such as Alphagan, Xalatan, etc., as I have an adverse reaction, i.e., migraine, drying and scratchy eye, very sensitive to light, etc."

For Glaucoma, Open Angle "This medication is excellent with no side effects for me, however the generic Timilol, does not work for near as well; Timilol has the same side effects as Xalatan and others that include headaches, migraines, dry eye, having to use twice as much, blurred vision. I do try new mediations as they come out but all of them have had the same side effects that are not acceptable, ie migraines and blurred vision, burning, itchy eyes.... Most all pharmacies and drug companies encourage generic, but I do not think it has the exact formula as the name brand; this includes Canadian drug companies and pharmacies."

It kept me from getting pregnant, but the rest of the side effects are making me miserable. I have 2 days of these horrible pills left before I start a different one.

Once I found out his behavior at school had drastically changed I was determined to figure out the cause. Then I realized it all began when he started on Zyrtec. I am so thankful for this site because I realized my son wasn't the only one experiencing these side effects. Now he is back on Claritin which isn't as effective as Zyrtec in clearing up his allergies, but I don't have to worry about crazy side effects. If you plan on giving your child Zyrtec, please keep a close eye on them for any changes.

Same as everyone!! ALL these meds are "PPIs" and are causing most ALL your symptoms....KEEP IN MIND......Nexium and Prilosec are both PPI's too! Read the ratings on NEXIUM and PRILOSEC before you take them, too! Also PLEASE report side effects to the FDA

This medication is working - more energy and far less depression so far. No real side effects except sweating but I can live with it

The first couple of days I took Topamax, I didn't take the pills with food (my mistake) and I experienced blurred vision, balance issues, tingling in my hands and thighs, extremely tired, and was overall very nauseous. Once I started taking the pills with food and making sure to drink plenty of water, I have noticed the vision side effects getting better as has the tingling. The tingling is still happening, though not as bad. What has gotten worse is the nausea and persistent upper respiratory issues. I was feeling so sick with a low grade fever, my throat was sore, congested, and I had started to develop a serious gag reflex when brushing my teeth. I went to urgent care and all my tests came back negative. I went to an ENT, everything looked fine. Primary said it was potentially just the Topamax. The Topamax has been so incredibly successful in aiding my binge eating that I'm going to stick with it for now. I used to eat 3-4000 calories a day in fast food and since I've started this drug I haven't had fast food once. I have lost weight on it and feel I have found some control with eating finally.
