Loratadine for Allergies Reviews

"Do not take this if you suffer anxiety. I remembered taking this 2 years ago and I had a panic attack so I didn’t take anymore. Forgot which one it was and I picked up a pack this week. I was 7 months anxiety/panic attack free until I took this the second time. 2 hours after swallowing I was dizzy, confused, irritable, severely anxious, shaking, sweating, racing thoughts that wouldn’t stop. It completely stopped my nose and eyes running and itching but I would take that any day over how I felt on this. Never again for me."

"This made me dizzy, confused, panicky worst feeling ever! I kind of feel like I am on a bad trip ! Also gave me bad heartburn made me feel like my throat is closing in cannot swallow saliva, ears are popping. I am never taking this again."

"Was told to take this loratadine instead of Benadryl, which causes only mild drowsiness. Three hours after taking loratadine began to feel confused, forgetful, and “out of body” dissociative-type symptoms. Will not use it again."

"Have taken this medication loratadine for a number of years now which has helped hugely with my dog allergy. Yesterday I was chatting with someone who reports the same as me. We both had side effects from Certirizine which was why went over to Loratidine."

"I have been taking loratadine for five-plus years because I was exposed to mold at my job and in my apartment. As a result, I started experiencing allergy problems and began taking this medication. Initially, it worked great, but now I am experiencing hair loss, headaches, eye problems, a rash on my leg, dry mouth, sleeplessness, memory issues, body pain, and constant thirst, among other things. After reading these reviews, I have decided to discontinue the medication and see if these side effects subside. Stay tuned because I am in desperate need of help."

"I took one 10 mg pill of Loratadine and it did absolutely nothing. So the next time I took two pills and it actually worked. I do not recommend taking more than the recommended dosage of any medication."

"Claritin does absolutely NOTHING for me!!! The most expensive candy mints I've ever bought. Even after taking 20mg of the 24-hour form *per dose* (double the strongest form), I'm still miserable with every seasonal allergy symptom after months of taking it."

"Running nose allergy symptoms are gone within 10 minutes and keeps working strong for 18 to 20 hours, then by the end of 24 hours symptoms return. One tiny but powerful tablet. The bottle I normally buy is labeled "CAREALL", "Non-Drowsy~24 Hour" below that in bold larger font,"Allergy Relief". Inexpensive but identical to the costlier major brand names. I recommend 100%."

"I was taking this for itchy skin/scalp and it didn't help much, in fact, drugs such as ibuprofen, pregabalin helped me more with my allergy than this antihistamine. After some time (1 month) it stopped working."

"Ive been taking Loratadine for quite some time now and I still suffer stuffiness, nasal drainage and itching, sometimes I have itchy eyes. This med does not seem to be working for me."

"I take the Claritin tablets for severe cold and allergies and this product seems to work best for me. I would give it at least an 8.5 out of 10 ."
