Have been taking Loestrin for only a month but im hating it already! Very bad mood swings, very emotional, bad acne, migrane by the end of the pack....only advantage is that my period was very very light..Considering taking Yaz now although i should probably stick to loestrin for a few months before switching...body takes a few months to adjust but i cant take all the side effects..

A range of side effects- very thirsty, slight drop in appetite although no real weight loss, trouble finding words and if someone spells a word to me I can't think quickly enough to spell it down!My husband has called it my Topamax tongue as I will mix things and words around. Some depression and racing thoughts, chest pains (but that could be stress linked-hard to say, pins and needles in hand and feet, increased weakness in hands at times (something I've noticed when doing surgery)

If I'd known that this was a corticosteroid and had read the comments on this site earlier, I would never have tried it. This was a sample given to my doctor, why do doctors give these medications to their patients? Don't they know the side effects? This drug is primarily to treat allergies and runny nose, I had gone to my doctor because of severe coughing after having been sick from either the flu or a cold for 2 weeks.

My treatment involves both freezing and using Aldara after to speed up the process to rid gw. First time I used Aldara, only had mild irritation. Was grateful not to have experienced the possible side effects mentioned by my doctor. However, after my last freezing session, I used Aldara for 3x a week and after my 3rd application, it began to swell and itch. A few days have passed since my last Aldara application but the swelling only got worse and adding more side effects to it. The itching was replaced by unbearable pain despite taking NSAIDs. I started bleeding and my inner folds of my vagina is clearly inflamed as well. I used the cream really sparingly every time! So I don't understand why it is acting up when I was fine with it before. It's really bad. I'd recommend just go with freezing only. It isn't as painful as the side effects I'm experiencing from Aldara.

Been on this for 11 years, before it was available OTC. I would never consider stopping, they alternative was nightmare. I'm a firm believer that if you think you have a problem, your going to get it. Stop thinking about it and it will go away. Meds have side effects if you read about everyone elses problem you will catch them too.
