The side effects were much worse than the headache...and it was a terrible one. I felt like the top of my head was on fire, couldn't raise my head off the pillow without becoming extremely ill, and was basically the scariest medicine I've ever taken. I will NEVER take it again. It also effected my muscles and coordination. I told my husband that I felt retarded...for lack of a better word. The warnings they include on the label are not sufficient enough in their descriptions.

In 2 1/2 yrs I lost my first husband, my 34yr old daughter and my second husband. My Doctor placed me on 20 mg ambien and Celexa for depression and anxiety. No counseling. I was driving to the store for food. I do not drink alcohol often. My level was .15 over the top. I had ideas of killing myself and the like. I have lost my home, car and many high fines for a 69 yr old woman with a DUI. I remember taking medicine, and nothing else. It is through the evidence of the police I know about the beer and accident. 7 days in the hospital. I think you must have good relationship with your physician. My Dr. dismissed me from his practice. I wanted to talk to him about his RX. You could not get me to take Ammbien or anything resembling ambien, trazadone they gave me in the hospital, I slept three nightmerish hours and ended up crying! I believe the public should be made aware of the serious side effects! thousands of people across the USA had similar experiences. I live in a rural

I am worried about possible long term side effects associated with hrt and premarin in particular.

I have been on this medication for a year, and some of the symptoms went away in the first three weeks, as described by my doctor. For the first three weeks I felt agitated (like my mind was moving too quickly for my body), and I constantly found it hard to think of words and was having trouble remembering things short-term, which made it very difficult to carry on a conversation. However, for the past year I have been dealing with an extreme "pins and needles" feeling in my hands and feet, taste change (carbonated beverages have a metallic taste), and fatigue. I would have dealt with those side effects - they were better that two debilitating migraines a week. However, in the past four months I have also felt constant nausea and have had diarrhea and a kidney stone. In the time that I've been on this medication my migraines have been reduced from two a week to about one a month (an amazing change), but I'm switching to another preventative, I can't deal with the side effects

I was a loyal user of Depo from age 16 to almost 25. It was very convienient and was effective for me. I didn't have mood or weight related side effects. I switched to Implanon eventually because my bone mass was suffering from prolonged use of Depo, but I have had a lot of spotting with Implanon and I'm considering switching back.
