I've been taking statins for 20 years and haven't noticed any side effects. I've been taking 80mg of lipitor. In the last few months, after losing 20 pounds that I needed to lose my cholesterol went from 134 to 122. However, I also hurt my quadriceps on my elliptical machine and after 6 weeks it still hurts enough to keep me from walking. I stopped taking lipitor in case that had something to do with it. I'm also in physical therapy. I have no idea whether its the statins or the weight loss or just an injury.

Omg I felt so poorly on these so hungry but couldn't eat! Felt weak everything hurts bad stomach pains throu to back no energy what's so ever. Haven't taken them since last night but still feel side effects

I started this three months ago at 20mg, then upped to 40 over time. It's worked wonders for my anxiety, and took a big bite out of the depression. I still have my ups and downs, but they are nowhere near as severe, and I no longer have obsessive behaviors or irrational fears. My doc is adding wellbutrin to my scrip so that I can become more active (the lexapro didn't help with my lack of interest in activities and hobbies). I encourage those beginning with this drug not to read about all the scary possible side effects, but to really feel for yourself how your mind/body are doing. There's so much negativity in the media about anti-depressants because of the very rare possibility of increasing suicidal thoughts/behaviors. That said, if you DO feel worse, seek help asap. But remember that this is rarely the case.

This medicine has evil side effects... Please don't take unless life or death. I was in college and had to take off a year from school because I got severe and painful tendinitis in both Achilles, elbows, shoulders, wrists, hips, hamstrings, and plantar fasciitis, I have finger joint pains in all fingers and toes. I was sooo healthy beforeVery athletic and it crippled me. It's been 3 years I'm 22 now and I still have painful joint and tendon pains although not crippling enough to not beig able to walk or write like I had the first year after I took cipro which led me to have to drop out of school. I also developed panic attacks insomnia brain fog depression and I was so happy before it destroyed me. Please don't take it it's not worth it!!!!!

Zaditor caused both my pupils to dilate. My right eye itched more than the left, so at times I didn't use the drops in the left eye, resulting in a larger dilated right pupil than the left. Some sites list this as a side effect, and others don't, but my ophthalmologist said dilated pupils can indeed be a side effect. I stopped the Zaditor drops immediately.
