It has helped so much with the weird paranoia-type anxiety I have been getting lately on top of my schizoaffective and general anxiety, and my uncontrollable brooding on negative thoughts that were leading to extreme moods. I was having signs of depression coming back, too, like losing motivation and energy, general negative mood, etc. I was put on this to augment my SSRI since it boosts seratonin in a way that compliments SSRI's mode of action plus this med boosts dopamine a bit. It has helped a lot with all of the symptoms mentioned plus the aggression and irritability I was experiencing. It started working quickly for me, within the first few days, and I have had a few episodes but it seems to be gradually increasing in effectiveness. It has a subtle effect, not the doped up "relaxed" feeling you get from some other anxiety meds, but it has helped me greatly with minimal side effects. I believe in waiting out a treatment method at least a month or so because side effects usually fade with time. I am prescribed it twice a day and I do begin to feel symptoms returning sometimes a bit before the next dose so I am going to be asking to switch to three times a day, which is a more common treatment with this medicine since it is fairly short-acting.

Only been on actos for 3 days and already having problems. Besides the chest pains, my BP has gone out the roof. Was fine 4 days ago. I'm not going to worry about weight gain, because I'm off actos today. The Dr. may not be happy but he's not the one having the side effects. In the 3 days my BG even went up, but that's not saying this drug might work for others. Over 24 hours since the last pill and the chest pains are almost gone. Hope no permanent damage. Great Epilog: Actos cured his diabetes, but the side effects killed him. "AMEN"

i didnt have any side effects. i woke up in the recovery room in pain that i cannot describe after back surgery. (L4/L5 laminectomy) morphine, demerol... nothing took the pain away and tho i didnt realize it at the time, i thought i was moaning when i woke up. my husb said he could hear me outside the double doors! i remember hearing the name DILAUDID and the nurse asking me if i was allergic or ever had it or wanted some. i said YES GOD give me whatever you have, i am about to die.NEEDLESS to say, she put it in my IV and i woke up some time later in my room. i was tucked in my bed.... and out of pain. when it wore off they began a regimen of 20MG oxiconting (time releaseed) every 12 hours: 2- 10 mg lortab every 4 hours: and 2 5mg oxycodone every other 4 hours when i wasnt taking the lortabs. All i know is that was in March 2008 and it is now September and I am still in pain. even by taking soma, loritab and NSAIDS........ i wish i had my own dilaudid for the night time when i

After the cyst went away I told my Obgyn I was going off it. I still have yet to get back to normal. These 1980's side effects shouldn't happen anymore.

brain bog, feeling intellectually impaired, forgetting words, extreme fatigue, lethargy, indecisiveness and no plan for life (absolutely out of character for me), feeling often dizzy and nauseous, very weird and vivid dreams (least concerning side effect of all).
