I have only side effects that control my appetite, which is good, because I need to lose forty pounds.For those whose insurance requires the generic to be given, I say this:After a week and a half, I started to experience tremors, nausea, crying bouts, and extreme exhaustion, I was driven by extreme mood swings, from very excited, to extremely sad and crying.I called my doctor's office, and the nurse was taking the same medication as I was, and she said when they switched her to generics she had the same side effects as I did.I called the pharmacist and he said that my doctor will have to write another prescrition only this time, put on it "Name Brand Medically Necessary", once the pharmacists submitted this to the insurance, they HAD to cover my prescription for the name brand Wellbutrin XL. And they still only charged me the co-pay.So anyone experiencing these symptoms, get your doctor to tell the pharmacy to make it medically necessary for you to get the name

I’ve been struggling with horrible blood pressure since the end of pregnancy 3 years ago. I have been on so many other meds and struggled with side effects. I started taking the generic form of Benicar, and it seemed like a dream come true. I developed reflux but did not initially connect that to the medication. Fast forward a year later, and I was having random bouts of nausea when eating and drinking. After a week I remembered that this medication had a reputation for GI side effects and chose to stop it. That was about 4 weeks ago, and things are still not back to normal. I still have nausea, reflux, lethargy, and am dealing with anxiety and depression because of it all. I feel like it would be better to try and lower it in other ways.My blood pressure started at 180/120 at the doctors, and went down to maybe 150/100 anyway. It did not help much there either. My home readings were always more reasonable.I have tried desperately to find message boards with other people who have experienced side effects but it seems impossible. Maybe because of the lawsuits?Can anybody tell me how long it took to feel normal again after stopping?? I really need some hope. I am scared this medicine has ruined my life, and I might have to deal with this forever. :(

This is an amazing drug for fatigue. And the side effects are minimal (aside from the acne). There's been no stomach upset, no headaches, no dizziness, no swelling, no weight gain... It hasn't really helped my joints, at least not in the short time that I've been taking it, but overall I've been happily surprised with its ease of use, low occurrence of side effects, relatively low cost ($60 with insurance), and performance in an area that commonly affects people with RA.

Very effective. Eliminated the need for a rescue inhaler. Just watch for side effects and adjust your dosage level accordingly to what your body can handle.

Does anyone get the above side effects since starting on Allegra? They only started when I started this medication and they are quite severe- enough that Iv been to hospital not linking it to these tablets. My ENT doctor put me on 180 a day for grass allergies and since starting them I feel horrific. Please email me if you are having these symptoms.
