TobraDex Reviews

For Conjunctivitis, Bacterial "TobraDex did the trick. First day: 65% improvement, then 10% better each day forward. By the 4th day, the infection and swelling were gone. The drops lasted for 10 days. I did have slightly blurry vision for the entire period, which could be the result of me digging out my eyeballs prior to filling the prescription. I would use it again, no problem."

For Conjunctivitis, Bacterial "I get regular bacterial eye infections (not as a result of poor hygiene) had an operation on my inner eyelid to remove a style resulting in loss of tear gland so suffer from chronic dry eye. I've tried lots of drops only Tobradex works - something to do with the steroid content apparently helps reduce the inflammation so helps the antibiotic to work. would appreciated any addition detailed information that might help"

For Conjunctivitis, Bacterial "I used to have red eyes caused by allergic conjunctivitis and infection, the dr told me to use TobraDex 4 times a day for 2 weeks. My eyes was really bad, after 2 days my eyes got better. Tomorrow it’s my last day and I will come back to the doctor. I notice my sight is a little blurry when I try to see things far, things that not used to happen before. Before I used to have a sight 20/20 and I now I feel it’s lower."

For Conjunctivitis, Bacterial "I bought this in Greece, I had conjuctivitis and I bought another just in case I would need it. Dr prescribe other antibiotic drops which did not work so I decided to do this Tobradex and 2 days my eye was great"

For Conjunctivitis, Bacterial "Tried Neo Poly Dex for 48 hours, but the infection spread to both eyes and became worse. After just 5 hours on TorbaDex (1 drop/2 hours), I would say I had a 50% improvement. Worth the extra money for sure. I will ask for it again if I'm unlucky enough to have a major bacterial eye infection again."

For Conjunctivitis, Bacterial "I was prescribe tobradex drops for chronic dry eye syndrome and conjunctivitis . I developed a severe allergic reaction. My eyelids and under eye got swollen , red, itchy and developed small bumps. I had raccoon eyes. I stop drops & went my Dr. Was put on cortisone ."

For Postoperative Ocular Inflammation "I was prescribed Tobradex ointment to put on my eyelids after eye surgery. I had a lot of bruising and swelling and the medication seemed to help. No adverse side effects, but if you get it in your eye, it will blurr your vision slightly for a couple hours (I think due to the greasy consistency more than anything else). My co-pay for a 7 day supply cost $50."

For Conjunctivitis, Bacterial "This medication has been doing a good job at clearing up my right ear after just a few days. Keep in mind that I also have a perforation in my ear drum as well, although it has been there even before I developed this infection. Anyhow, I was recently diagnosed with a right middle ear infection last week and was prescribed this along with Augmentin 875 MG. However, I have been taking a 500 MG Glutathione antioxidant supplement along with this medication considering the fact that this medication carries an ototoxic risk."

"Day one (1 drop every 4 hours, 3 doses in) and this seems like a miracle. Prior to 1st dose, pain from blinking was a 6.5/10. The entire half of my face from the infected eye was swollen. Swelling has gone down approximately 70% after 3 doses (12 hours). No noticed side effects currently."

For Conjunctivitis, Bacterial "My twin sister had the infection. She's been using it for about a day, and she has seen an improvement already. The doc told her to use it three times a day for seven days."

For Conjunctivitis, Bacterial "I had an allergic reaction to sulfur in another eyedrop. My eye was blurry, not being able to see more than ten feet. This eyedrop helped me see."

For Conjunctivitis, Bacterial "Not effective for eye infection. It's still bad as it was!!!. I have allergic reaction. I have an eye swollen, red, and lot of bumps around the eye. Negative experience!!"

For Conjunctivitis, Bacterial "Really effective - had discharge come out of my red eye. Now the pain is gone some 20 hours later. "

For Conjunctivitis, Bacterial "Worked like a charm. Already felt much better after 1 drop."

For Conjunctivitis, Bacterial "Took it for 7 days and still have photophobia, red eyes. Improved in the first 15 hours and then deteriorated. My red eye still really hurts."
