Zorvolex Reviews

For Pain "Using Zorvolex for overall joint pain, and it’s a lifesaver. It has completely changed my quality of life. Taking three 35mg per day. For those of you having trouble paying for the med, I have full coverage PPO insurance. The drug needed preauthorized and would still cost me $150 a month. I contacted the manufacturer, and since my insurance doesn’t cover more of the cost, I can get this for free every month at Walgreens. I just have to call for a code. Worth trying if you haven’t!"

For Osteoarthritis "I am 38 years old with 4 small kids. I've recently been diagnosed with osteoarthritis in my hips and most likely my knees. I was also having significant shoulder and heel pain. Within 2 days of starting this medication, I would say I was 75% better. Now, after 1 month, I feel better than I have felt in years. I am amazed that 1 medication can work this well. I have not noticed any side effects."

For Pain "This is an update since my last post. I took Zorvolex for 1 month. Experienced only one side effect - slight increase in blood sugar. But it's finally under control. I can sit and watch TV. Take a brisk walk around the park. I still err on the cautious side and wear my back brace during any physical activity like grocery shopping, gardening, vacuuming, washing the car, etc. I occasionally have to stop, stretch, and rest my back. I'm 63 years old, and this is as close to normal as my back is going to get. That, my friends, is good enough for me!"

For Pain "My doctor prescribed this for inflammation in my lower back area, I have been on it for one week. My shoulder and neck pain is gone almost completely, and my back feels a lot better. As of today, it's been 5 days I have been on this product. The info says it takes two weeks... am hoping it just gets better. Very impressed."

For Osteoarthritis "I have tried 3 other medications, and this is the only one that worked well for me. All others were either too strong, causing stomach pain, or they would help for a few hours, then the pain would come back. Moving around was easier, and I had no side effects from this medication. Answer to my prayers!"

For Pain "I have severe neck and shoulder pain. I normally take 800 mg of ibuprofen but on days that my pain is so bad that even that doesn't even help I'll take this Zorvolex medication. It works extremely well and allows me to continue with my day. I highly recommend."

For Pain "I have severe osteoarthritis, and recently my shoulder started hurting so bad I couldn't sleep, as well as my thumb. I am on pain meds for fibromyalgia but was taking 4 Advil at night which didn't help the arthritis at all. By the 2nd day of the (Dr. given) samples of Zorvolex, the shoulder and thumb pain was barely noticeable. Sadly, my insurance won't cover it and I can't afford the almost $500 a month. Hoping to get some help from another resource because this med really works."

For Pain "I am bone on bone in my knee and was in a lot of pain. Had not been able to walk easily for several months. I felt so much better after taking 2 doses I was shocked. After three days I feel better than I have before I had the surgery that ended up making my knee worse than before. My only complaint is having to take three doses a day and it makes me very sleepy. I've tried prescription aleve and meloxicam and had stomach issues from both and I'm allergic to something in Celebrex. I feel like this medicine is a godsend."

For Pain "I'm diabetic with Scoliosis-extensive degenerative deterioration of lower back L2-L5 and arthritis. Without Zorvolex 35mg 3x a day, I would be experiencing sharp, shooting pain every time I moved. Sneezing and coughing was excruciating! I do wear my back brace all the time for additional back support. I've been taking Zorvolex for over a week. It works very well and I haven't experienced any side effects yet"

For Pain "I have severe neck pain. I normally take 800 mg of ibuprofen. Today, even that didn't get rid of my pain so I decided to take a Zorvolex when it was time for me to dose again instead of taking the ibuprofen. My pain went from a 10 + down to a 3. I highly recommend this medication but would save to take your first dose at night in case it makes you feel drowsy. I am so thankful but I'm finally out of pain after such a long day of feeling bad."

For Osteoarthritis "Do not take this medication. I got collagenous colitis from taking this medication. It took a couple of months of extreme diarrhea to diagnose this problem. I have to take a steroid now to stop the diarrhea! !!!"

For Osteoarthritis "I took this medication for Osteoarthritis, and it helped so much. Surprisingly, it nearly stopped my chronic migraines too. The best thing about Zorvolex is that I do not get the ear ringing that other NSAIDs or the regular dose of generic diclofenac cause. The only down side is that I turned 65, and Medicare Part D doesn't cover it. I was able to get an exception for one year, but what they paid was minimal. Before 65, I only paid $50 a month. It tripled. I just couldn't afford it anymore, so I've stopped taking it. My ears are ringing again. I hope there will be an affordable generic soon."

For Pain "I have been dealing with extreme pain in my hip and groin area. I took one pill but never again. I first experienced drowsiness, which isn't anything to worry about until I started to not feel right in my head. Lasted for about 20 minutes. Then as I was standing in the kitchen making dinner I developed extreme nausea for about 5 minutes. This led to a rush shooting straight to my head and on came a dizzy spell that lasted for about 20 seconds. Followed by a partial black out for a split second, vision came back and I went to sit down moments later I was perfectly ok. Well besides feeling freaked out of course. I would never recommend this medicine to anyone."

For Pain "We'll I have been on this medication for 7 months now. At first it worked well for my pain. Your body has to get used to it . This medication works well for my joint pain in back and knees. It will work for headache also. But these past 2 months I've had terrible side effects. I get these stomach pains from hell. I get sick and throw up. The stomach pain is unbearable . Taking the 18mg. 3xs a day sometimes only able to take 1 a day with food for sure and the stomach pain will come. Also has caused upper respiratory infection 2xs now."

For Pain "I just wanted to give advice to "infomom" on her previous post about insurance not covering it or increasing the copay. If you know that the medication is working well for you then I would first ask your doctors office for samples and keep calling so you can stock up on them. Secondly the nurse at your doctors office should be able to submit a prior authorization form to your insurance. If they still deny it then the nurses can fill out and send in an exception/medically necessary form through the appeals department. If none of those work try using a coupon or see if the company has patient assistance Good luck to you! I will say Zorvolex has worked tremendously the few times I've taken it."

For Osteoarthritis "I've finally found a medicine that helps. I can move about so much easier."

For Pain "Knee pain for years. This medicine has worked wonders. I have taken diclofenac before, but it never worked like this!"

For Pain "Noticed a big difference with the first dose. Most medicines have made no difference. Anxious to pick up my script for continued use until I have my hip replacement."

For Osteoarthritis "Dr. gave me samples. Was on 18 mg for 6 days and 35 mg for 3, and now cannot stop ringing in ears, which was NOT on drug insert. Praying this stops."

For Pain "I have tried Naproxen, Celebrex, Motrin, 800mg Ibuprofen, etc... This was the only one that worked for my back pain. Brought it down from a 8 to a 2. It was good."

For Osteoarthritis "DR. gave me samples of it and it greatly helped me go from my walker to a cane. But I can't afford the amount of money it cost to take it."

For Pain "Only took twice a day for my ankylosing spondylitis . Had little relief if any at all. Vimovo worked much better but after a couple months had horrible GI side effects."
