I have been taking this drug for 4 years now, 1-3 packs a day. The only time I have had problems is if I go for prolonged periods without taking medication, which can be remedied quickly by increasing my dose to 3 or 4 packs per day for a week or two. I also have tried the Urokit K pills, which seem to have side effects and make me feel awful. Citra K also stabilizes my urine pH around 6.5 to 7.5. If I don't take it, I am around 5.0.
I was placed on CYTRA-K Crystals to help prevent Calcium Oaxlate stones, it hasn't helped at all, and the side-effects are almost as bad
I take only when stones appear for a period of i week then have no problem for months.
I have to use this medication because of a 6mm kidney stone. By drinking this it may make it possible to pass the stone. I have to use it for 6 weeks.
