I had been taking a medication similar to Diovan but without the HCT. I didn't have the side effects I do now until the diuretic was introduced. I have been on Diovan HCT for the past 4 years, and it does keep my BP at or below 120/80, but the side effects are really bad. Perhaps my dosage is too high?

It helped me immediatly. I was on augmentin before I began taking this drug and wasn't getting better and had horrible diarrhea. Within two hours of taking zithromax I felt MUCH MUCH better. I don't think any drug is a wonder drug...I think they all have a price to pay in side effects. I was lucky however and ended up with some stomach cramping and a bit of dizziness. I had very bad vertigo the second day but I really think that was because I was being treated for a sinus infection and my frontal sinus was finally draining. I have a feeling it was draining to my ears. Other than that who can complain about feeling completely better?!

I took the medication in the evening and when I woke up I started experiencing severe nausea and malaise. I called the doctor and he told the medicine was reknown for its severe side effects. He suggested I stopped using it but i decided to continue. THe nausea persisted every morning and then it got better. On the 3rd day i developed an acidic taste in my mouth after food and occasional tingling sensation in my body. 1 day after i finished the medication i started developing soft stools, panic attacks, tremors, extreme anxiety, acid reflux, malaise. The side effects are severe even after the treatment. I hope they don't take too long to subdue.

I had stomach ulcers that were healed during the time I took Nexium. Very good. No side effects from this medicine for me :)

Due to the aforementioned side effects, I stopped taking the drug. I heard that it is hard to come off of as well.
