You have to take this at the exact time every day. If you miss even by an hour, you will start bleeding by the end of the day. I've had so much break thru bleeding with these pills. I never know when it's going to happen. Also, I feel bloated a lot from these pills. Had weight gain, etc. I hate this pill.

Switched from YAZ to this for various reasons. This made me feel like I was PMSing constantly, 24/7. Super bloated, super tired, super hungry, irritable, gained 10 pounds in less than two months. I quite honestly thought I was pregnant multiple times due to the way this made me feel. No thanks. Willingly switched back to YAZ as it gave me zero of those unwanted side effects.

I have been using this for about 3 months and have been getting my period every other week. My breasts have been tender for at least a month. At times I feel like this is making me go crazy with my mood swings. I used to be on a progesterone only pill for a couple of years and never had any side affects. I will not be staying on this.

Planned parenthood switched me this brand of POP after I told them I had ONE migraine with an aura, they said it was policy to take me off of my combo pill which I had been on and LOVED for 3 years. So the 1st month I had horrific cramping and acne. I found it extremely difficult to take this pill at the exact same time even with an alarm set. I became terrified of becoming pregnant. This pill started ruling my life, I'm like "is it 9:30 yet"??? Well I went to a actual gyno and she put me back on my beloved monessa, the combo pill. She said one migraine wasn't enough to warrant a change. I'm a non smoker, 5'6 and 110, have no healthy issues or family history of it. My new gyno actually informed me that the whole 3 hour window is BS and said it can be less effective at 30 minutes difference. And ahe said its only about 85-90% effective at preventing pregnancy, oh heck no! In 9 days I get to switch back to the combo pill and me and the finance aren't getting busy because I do not want a baby!

I've taken Jolivette while I've nursed my children (a total of 3 years so far), and I've had no problems. The only abnormal thing is that taking the pill stops my period completely, but I don't miss it!

My doctor prescribed this to me because I have migraines with an aura, traditional estrogen birth control has been linked to blood clots with this condition. I have been taking the pill for 6 months. I took it very consistently by setting an alarm each day. Once I began taking this medication I experienced excessive acne breakouts, significant weight gain, and increasing severity for my migraines. Furthermore, my periods became extremely inconsistent and hard to predict.

I had so many side effects with this pill. -nausea -fatigue -spotting/random bleeding -missed periods -moodyness -cramps -Ik there's more but can't think of them I wasn't always good at taking them in the beginning. When I was good at taking them which was for 4 months. I finally switched as I hadn't had a period from 9/12/15. To today (12/1/15) So sick of this pill. Happy to be switching after this 4th month pack. To sprintec, hopefully this works better.

I have been taking this medication for 7 months now because I am sensitive to estrogen pills. I have experienced weight gain and almost every month breakthrough bleeding. I will have full 5 to 7 days period which is way more than I used to you and not bleed for one or two days then start another cycle of bleeding. I was giving it some time before I change but I have had enough and will be seeing my doctor soon to change. Also, I have been extremely stressed out and emotional.

I love my Jolivette! I've been on it for almost 2 years and have had only positive experiences and very minimal periods! I have endometriosis and this BC can be used to treat endo symptoms - I only have 2 bad days of cramping/pain and they're predictable (3 days before my period and 2nd day of my period) I used to experience horrendous, debilitating rectal pain from the endo - not anymore! My boobs have grown a full cup size (plus!) and I have peace of mind knowing that I can fully enjoy my sex life with my husband with less worry!

So I choose this birth control for a few reasons. I have a heavy flow for about 4 days and major back pain as well. I also have mental health in my family so I'm not one to mess with the chemistry in my body to much. Picking a birth control with just progesterone was my best option. I've read the other reviews and I must say that I haven't had the same effects. My body type is 5.6ft and weighing under 130lbs. I work out regularly and snowboard. Super active and I eat healthy. Another factor is that I live at a ski lodge with other females who have their own cycles. I've been taking the pill for three months now and have had one period lasting 3 days. First day was a heavy flow and bad back pain. The few days to follow was spotting. My boobs don't feel tender and I haven't gained any weight or mood change. It's been great so far but I wonder when my period is going to happen...

The first few months of being on this pill was hell. I had two week long periods, breakouts like crazy, and gained a little wait. I talked to my doctor but this is the only pill I can be on due to migraines. YOU MUST BE PATIENT. The pill works, just irregular periods.

I started this pill 6 months ago to ease my cramps. it worked fine the first month, then i started spotting between periods in my second month, then started having cramps with my spotting. Now I get my period every 2 weeks with terrible cramps. My period last 7 days, with spotting after. before it only lasted 5 days. I would not advise taking these pill for cramping, but it does work as a birth control.

I advised anyone that gets this drug, to find out all the side effects. This pill has had me on a period for 3 months consecutive. Out of all the 20 years of me using birth control, this has been the worse pill by far for me. I immediately called my doctors office and asked to be switched back to what i was on before. She advised that every woman is different, but this is by far the worse for me. It was supposed to help regulate blood pressure, but all it did was raise mine...Please make sure you find out all information on this drug before taking.

I've only been on Jolivette for a month & a half after Planned Parenthood decided I couldn't pick up at the clinic anymore & to go to my pharmacy and obtain it free there. I was on Micronor. I liked it! Then they gave me this crap in place of my Micronor. So far in the last month & a half, Rather just shy of my 30th bday, Ive noticed irregular periods, two periods in july, spotting towards the middle to end of Aug. (recently ) & increased appetite, I've gone fromn 103lbs-112lbs! I can't even fit my favorite outfits anymore!! I'm switching back to Mirena a week from Tues due to the fact that I liked that & I still have coverage thru Pink Card. F*ck this sh*t!!

The first 3 months on this drug was great, then I got the worse cramps of my life and a really heavy period. Two weeks later I got my period again and it won't go away. My dr won't put me on anything else as I have migraines and said it may take up to a year for my body to get used to the pill. Its horrible!

I have been taking Jolivette for almost five months now. It was prescribed to help with heavy bleeding I was experiencing due to a fibroid cyst. The first couple of periods I got after starting it were 2-3 weeks long and still heavy. The last one only lasted a week and stopped abruptly, and completely - I've always had some spotting before or after, but not this time. I'm still trying to figure out if it's going to help me or not. The down sides I have noticed are weight gain (20 lbs!) and very oily skin, as well as blurry vision. I'm going to give it another month or two because the doctor said my periods could stop completely, and that would be great, but if I gain any more weight, I will quit and look for other options.

(18 yrs old) I've been on this birth control for 4 months now, I think that it's a great pill, I remember to take it at the same time everyday. When in the second month of being on this pill I had 4 days of spotting, I was really confused at first, but it went away pretty quickly. The only complaint that I have is that is does make my period very irregular, my cycles started at 25 days and now I'm all the way to 40 days. while on the pill I never had any mood swings or headaches. The only reason I'm going off of this pill now is to see if the pill is causing eczema on my skin. Overall I think that it is worth a try!

My normal bc was replaced by this in January due to "high blood pressure" and I've had the absolute worst experience with it. I literally bled the entire first 3 months I was on it, constant mood swings (And I was never a cranky person during my time of month) and weight gain. My doctor won't switch it either so I'm considering stopping. Or going to a new doctor. I wouldn't recommend this bc to anybody. Avoid if possible.

I have been on this pill for a month. My period came during the second week on the pill, I am off of the pill as of now but not even a week later my period has came back? Will the bleeding be none stop? I have not taken pill in 2 days. how high is the risk of being pregnant at this point? help!

My doctor prescribe this birth control because i was breastfeeding.During 8 month of taking it i had my period every 1,5-2 weeks. When i missed taking one tablet in time (i took 6 hours later) i got pregnant. My baby was born w/birth defects. My previous three kids was born with NO any problems. I wouldn't recommend this birth control tablets to anyone!!!!! Really terrible experience!!!!!
