This is part of my new cocktail. The other med added at the same time was Wellbutrin, so I am not sure which side effects belong with which med. I have been on 300mg Lamictal forever; love it. Used Seroquel for sleep. The reason I am now taking Topamax is for the weight loss and/or libido increase benefits (same goes for the Wellbutrin). Dumped the Seroquel and halved the Cymbalta to 60mg as my weight hasn't moved in 4 months even tho' I eat like a rabbit. We'll see how this goes...so far, so good...one week down, and the side effects are not unbearable as yet. I definitely eat less, which is great! I do not care for the "dumbed down" feeling, however.

I typically sleep 4-5 hours a night and occasionally have to take Ambien, but I am very high functioning and do great on a little sleep... the doctor suggested this medication (her experience is that fewer patients report side effects as compared to ambien). She also told me I needed to take it for two weeks for it to work but I can't take it any more, I can't stay awake. I am sleeping about 18 hours a day and have had to take several days off work because I am so drowsy.

I got ALL the classic Lexapro symptoms and then some. The worst was sleepiness/EXTREME FATIGUE and like others observed, I wanted to sleep all the time. There was NEVER enough sleep to be had! I gained 15 pounds which stressed me out and can't get enough to eat. Sound familiar? I guess that's not a problem if you don't care how you look. I yawned all the time, sweated profusely and snapped at people at home and at work. Sleeping sucked (woke up each night at 4 a.m. and remained awake) and dreams were weird. At one point, I was just about ready to see the doc for a chronic gagging/coughing problem -- especially in the morning -- but found out via other comments that it's a side effect of Lexapro. Ugh! I had chest pains (not frequent), muscle twitches (at night when I laid down) and shortness of breath. Being tired all the time made it impossible to run almost every day (which I used to do) and that exacerbated my weight gain and lethargy. So, I've tapered off this drug but a

At 3 1/2 weeks pregnant my progesterone level was 16. At 5 1/2 weeks pregnant it fell to 10. Coincidentally, or due to the low levels, I also had brown spotting for 4 days before we got the low level back. Now I take 400 mg of Prometrium at bedtime. I wonder if I should be splitting the dose twice a day (does anyone know about this?) but honestly-- it is far better to take it at night the side effects are less, and I actually feel like doing things during the day. Although, it is not pleasant stuff: my brown spotting completely went away after 2 days of treatment, so you can bet I will stay on it. I hear that pregnant women should stay on it until week 14. I also have read online that many, many healthy babies have been born to women taking Prometrium--so all you pregnant women out there: Don't worry !

Memory loss, loss of focus, could only think of the thing I was seeing at the moment or doing at the moment. Nausea became a side effect as long as increased pulse for no reason.
