I've only just started the pill, switching from the NuvaRing (which has the lowest estrogen out of any BC method, which may explain side effects from the switch). I'm fairly miserable, but I'm not sure if I just caught the flu or something, or because I'm under a lot of stress, or a combination of all three.I'll continue using the pill and talk to my doctor-- if anyone has any stories about similar symptoms that decreased/dissapeared after the first month email me. I think I'll stick it out.

Same as everyone!! ALL these meds are "PPIs" and are causing most ALL your symptoms....KEEP IN MIND......Nexium and Prilosec are both PPI's too! Read the ratings on NEXIUM and PRILOSEC before you take them, too! Also PLEASE report side effects to the FDA

Knocked out my allergies well. Side effects do not seem to be a fair trade off though.

I took this for migraines and later found it helped with palpitations, too. I didn't realize this caused dehydration - until I saw reviews - which I've had almost as long as I've taken this drug. I worried it might be diabetes, which tests always came up negative. My doctor never suggested it was the Inderal. Hmm. The other side effect is impotence, total lack of interest, which really didn't start until my early 50's.

Until I visited this site, I didn't realize I was experiencing side effects. Requip does help to relieve the restless legs although sometimes it is slow to work, and if I take it earlier, it makes me so sleepy that I can't enjoy the evening hours. However, I have been feeling so bad lately that I went to see my doctor. He did blood work that did not show anything. He thought that switching to Mirapex might help, but I'm just not sure. I have extreme pain in my feet, some numbness and tingling in my hands, and just feel strange most of the time. I have a very short attention span, am irritable or angry most of the time which is just not me. This is affecting my work and home life. I have decided to come off the requip gradually to see if my symptoms improve. If they are relieved, I will have to look for another medication for restless legs.
