The effects of Restoril on helping me fall asleep were stellar. Much more gentle and effective than Ambien. The side effect of the terrible headache is not one I'm capable of enduring, and completely negates the benefit of being able to fall asleep quickly. The dream I just had (which I am sure is due to the Restoril since it and my reaction to it was completely out of character) is something that has me so stressed out that I'm terrified to fall back asleep now because of the chance it or something similar could recur.

Was on 40 mg Prozac for years, Dr. advised changing to tackle OCD issues. After two days of being on Cymbalta, I noticed an increase in flatulance and the worst smelling gas I've ever smelled. I truly could not BELIEVE that smell was coming from me, it was as if something had died inside of me. Worse though was the stomach trouble; when I ate or drank anything, I was racing to the bathroom with cramps and threat of diarrhea. Usually it was alot of pain and very little production, I can't stress enough how irregular I became. I found myself in the bathroom eight times a day or more for two months, soft messy stools. Switched back to Prozac 40mg, after about 4 days off of Cymbalta the gas went away, however my stomach is still cramping and digestion very poor (9 days off). No side effects from withdrawal, however I switched back to Prozac, so maybe this is why?

continued...I was late on my assignments and at work I was also falling behind to the point I was gonna get written up! totally not my personality. The sad thing I didnt even care. I just wanted to go home and sleep all day. I never went anywhere...I was a zombie. I found your website and immediately stopped taking this drug. I used Aveeno to bathe and lotion myself down with to stop the itching. I could shave my armpits for a while though because i broke out in a rash a month after stopping the med. I was able to shave after a few months after that. I drank tea for my throat and just endured the seasonal allergies. Every time I itched I just put lotion on. I very well weaned off this horrible drug a year later. I have lost so much weight --especiallyy around my stomach area! I am now 140 something getting close to 130 lbs and hopefully back to my original weight in a few more months. I am trying to go back to school and I am doing way better at work--I can concentrate now. I dont sit at home sleeping my life away. I get out and socialize now and am more active. This drug made me anti-social. I just wanted to say that you can wean off this. I dont take anything for my allergies anymore. I just dont trust the side effects and its not worth my life. Please spread the word.Would not recommend to anyone, please stop taking this drug if you have been experiencing these side effects.

All side effects I have experienced have been positive. I have more energy and motivation. Some insomnia, but I had this before the medication and I haven't noticed it being any worse with the meds. Slight jitters when I increased my dose, but went away in a few days. Appetite is the same, sex drive is back (was gone for awhile) and better than ever!

Ive taken the drug before to treat mastioditis. it treated the infection, side effects were minimal/not enough to recall about. Currently, I am on day one. Symptoms so far include: nausea, loose stools & intense HALLUCINATIONS! (only in sleep/waking up process)
