The only side effect I really had were blackouts, which I NEVER had before and haven't had since (and I drank MUCH MORE over the next couple of weeks after discontinuing Lexapro as a "test" to make sure it was the cause). I would go from being slightly buzzed to "coming to" with a complete loss of memory as to what had happened during the previous 2 or so hours. I'd be conscious and doing things during this time, but I had no recollection of anything past a certain point. This happened several times, but I didn't immediately realize Lexapro was the culprit. The time I finally put everything together was when I "came to" walking around, lost, without any idea as to where I was, how I got there, or why I was even walking around... and this was after only 4 or 5 beers 1 shot- it freaked me out! BTW, I took my dose in the morning, not late at night when I was drinking, and no, I didn't drink on an empty stomach. Let me just say that my experience with Lexapr

Shortness of breath started in mid may after using for less than a month. Didn't realize swallowing what made it to the back of my nose would be so harmful! Completely disrupts cortisol levels! Thought I had gotten a contaminated batch of dabs and needed to wait out my lung inhalation injury. After multiple ekgs, chest xrays, blood tests, urine tests, CT of chest abdomen and pelvis, echocardiogram, all came back normal Dr decided to treat with antidepressant, inhaler, bp pill and nitro tabs. Started taking flonase in april, bad side effects started in may, stumbled upon this page on September 21 and stopped taking flonase next day as I had already dosed that morning. So many stories felt like a perfect description of my life the last few months. Dr brushed off flonase and says side effects of this drug are mostly benign, but here I am on October 27 and most of my issues have resolved without using meds prescribed. I take vit d, ashwaganda, vit c, b complex, coq10, magnesium, zinc, and omega 3 daily to help balance me out and get back to baseline. No history of any illness other than the occasional cold. Still have the occasional pulsing in my head and insomnia, and almost constant tight chest with shortness of breath. Smoking and vaping and edibles all cause SOB and tightness of chest to worsen so No more of that til I feel normal again. Several other posts on here claim months of recovery ahead, so I'm optimistic. You are not alone! Lots of us have endured this tortuous medication

It has begun to take away the TD, and I have not been on it for very long, so I'm hoping these side effects go away with time.

Horrible Psychosis and Nyrological effects that maifested back and forth from pain to pyschotic esposidoes that lasted for hours that then would subside, and give way to massive headaches and stomach pains. Also expeineced hallucinations and Detoxifacation "Hex" Reaction was like a hell trip worst substance that I ever put in my body! Even Days After AntiBiotics was Gone Vibramycin would return at same time of the day that I had been taking it; even though I hadn't taken it, like it had memory recall on my psychosis, and it would take control of me like the Matrik SCARRY STUFF!! TRUE STORY!!!!!!

I'm on prednisone and I take Lyrica and I also take an oxycodone when the pain is unbearable, but only one or two a day. If there's a class action suit against Novartis, I'd like my name on the list of complaintants. Novartis has completely ignored my case, which my oncologist presented to them. They still deny the side effects we've all reported about here. How long will they continue this deception? I just want to know how to get rid of the pain and be myself again.
