other than that i feel like iam getting better its my second day ,i have 8 more to go .....side effects suck

im really glad to see this site and to here everyone's comments and to know that im not alone. i have been taking this drug off and on for 10yrs and now that i see the same side effects im having i see that have to call my Gatro DR. soon. my primary care doctor now wants to send me to a rheumatologist and i still cant believe this. i have been pretty healty all my life and now that i know this information i will share with other in my situation.

My doctor suggested this to me after I had adverse reactions to Prolia and Actonel. She thought that maybe this would suit me better as it was a monthly tablet. Its as bad as the other treatments!!! They are all the same with dreadful side effects which just can't be good for the body. There is something very toxic about all of these drugs, the cure is worse than the disease. I will finish with taking Boniva and hope that my body flushes it out and I have no lingering side effects. My doctor and Podiatrist are in agreement that my symptoms have nothing to do with taking Boniva that it is just age related wear and tear. I wish they would become guinea pigs for the drug and then maybe the drug companies would sit up and listen. I walked 3 miles a day before all this now I can't walk around the corner!

It workd for my depression, but I think I'm going to taper off because of the side effects.

I was on Avapro for about 3 years, but over the period, aches and pains in joints became extremely debilitating. Initially blamed arthritis and/or getting older. Walking any distance was becoming very difficult. After looking up 'side effects', went immediately to the doctor. Not heard of this reaction, but checked his own source - one person in 1000 suffers badly from severe aches in joints. Went back onto my previous long term medication (Inderal, a beta-blocker) aches and pains vanished immediately. Like getting a new life.
