For Prevention of Dental Caries "This prescription strength anti cavity toothpaste may be good at preventing cavities, but opening the cap is nearly impossible. The catch is so strong that it takes a lot of twisting & heavy leverage to get the cap to snap open. We've gone thru 4 tubes now & all of them were the same, so it's not just a temporary manufacturing glitch. It's a poorly designed snap cap."

For Prevention of Dental Caries "I have been using Floridex once a day. It is an OK toothpaste, but seems to leave a film on my teeth which I can taste throughout the day. It also causes my gums to burn slightly. I don’t think I will continue to use."

On Nov 2, I had a PCOS drilling procedure performed (two weeks after the start of my period).Four weeks later (that is six weeks after my last period), after receiving a negative result on a pregnancy test, I started taking Provera (medroxyprogesterone) 10 mg on 12/3/06 for seven days.On 12/10, I didn't get my period so I called my doctor to see if there was reason for concern.On 12/14, I took a test and I am pregnant. I have read that there are many side effects to the fetus while taking Provera. Does anyone have any advice? I could be between 4 and 6 weeks.

Took once or twice a year for 5 or so years. Side effect was subtle and came after finishing med so I did not associate it. Thought I had breathing problems... would last a day or so. Last time, thought I was getting worse and saw the dr. He made the connection -- but thought my lungs were pretty good for age and ex-smoker; told me it was probably my "breathing center" -- i.e., it's all in your head! Did get rid of UTIs -- now I'm working on prevention.

After one day I smile more and see the 'bright' side of things I used to look at with negativity. Placebo effect? Not sure...

I've been taking this so long, I'm not sure if I have side-effects from the drug or from age (in fact, they years taken that I've listed is a bit if a guess). But I do have trouble losing weight that I didn't used to have. I also have to clear my throat frequently, but that started back when I first tried a corticosteroid, which was Asthmacort, I think. That stuff was nasty. I have also noticed a slight hoarseness when I sing in the car, but I think it kind of sounds cool - like Bryan Adams.
