3 days after the shot I got a 1 inch line of itchy pustules on my right forearm that resembled shingles had itbeen on my back. Intensely itchy felt on my wholeInner forearm. I hadn't been around poison ivy. Was this a side effect of Shingrix?? 3 days later it hasn'tImproved. Benedryl hardly eases the itch discomfort.

I have read tons of reviews on this medication as I have been on Prozac, Zoloft, Lexapro, Wellbutrin, Buspar and Klonopin. I have experienced no weight gain, no sexual side effects whatsoever which is why I to write this review. This is the best anti-depressant I have ever taken. I take in the morning at 6:30 am with a little food because I have read many reviews with nausea as I side effect which I have not experienced. So far so good. If things change, I will repost to update changes.

Changed lifestyle... Worked out with light weights 2 to 3 times per week and walked or did stretches and aerobics the other days of the week. Stayed out of the mid day sun. Went on diet and lost 50 pounds. Cholestrol dropped to 136, BP dropped to avg of 100/62 with 63 beats per minute average. Doctor took me off of Diovan HCT, increased from low dose aspirin to 162.5 mg. Blood pressure is now staying at around 110/66 with 65 beats per minute average seated. All side effects with the exception of the hair loss are completely gone. Although my hair has gotten just a little darker and I think it's a little thicker but don't really care at this point. Have no intention of ever going back on Diovan HCT. I quit without any problems. After about 3 weeks I really started to feel great...better than I had in years. I will say it helped control my blood pressure and heart rate but I'm happy to say I don't need it anymore with my permanent lifestyle change. I'm lucky. Best of luck to you.

I think that there are too many drugs on the market that have an insomnia side effect. How can a prescription drug help depression if it causes insomnia ?? I can't think of too many more counter-productive side effects than insomnia, especially for depression.
