No real side effects, felt relaxed and put me to sleep within an hour or two. This is supposedly the easiest of all benzos, but also the weakest and it has a long halflife.

I had taken this medication 8 years ago and had no side effects from it. This time though I had a negative experience with this med. I had constant diarrhea, 3-4 times a day. I had a loss of appetite and had gotten to the point that I couldn't stand to even think about food. Thinking about what to eat or fix for my family actually caused anxiety. I lost 10 lbs in 9 nine days. About the 5th or 6th day I started to be unable to sleep during the night. I woke up every hour. During the day I would have waves of nervous energy, almost like the feeling you get when you experience the fight or flight response. The last day I took it I woke up at 4 am with diarrhea, left sided abdominal pain that radiated to my back and shoulder, and heart palpitations. A trip to the ER revealed that I had a large amount of stool and gas in my colon. I had a miserable experience with Wellbutrin.

The first day I took this drug I was so excited because of the energy I felt. The next morning when I woke, took my medication with no reaction. Up the dosage and had the same result. Great energy the first day, then no increase in energy. The positive side though was how I had more clarity in my thinking. Even though I didn't have energy back I was willing to stay on the drug to keep the fog out of my brain. I was hopeful the side effects would eventually go away. Instead they got worse. I stopped taking the drug two days ago and I am really glad. It's nice not to wake up with a headache after clinching my teeth all night. I have been taking this for 3 years only when needed and it does help with sinus headaches and allergies, especially during school season. I take it at night before bed and have tons of energy for the day! Trying to take myself off allegra-D and I am so tired and just do not feel right at all. Weight gain for me---yuck! Tried other things but always go back to this because it does work. Side effects stink though!

Switched over to these tablets from hospital morphine drip. No side effects (except constipation) and excellent safe and functional (no narcotic stupidity) pain relief.
