Took this just for 3 days. On the fourth all of a sudden started to have nasty side effects, almost went to the ER: headache, dizziness, chest and stomach pain, low grade fever (38). Stopped immediately, fever went away the following day. But three days later still feeling odd, not able to eat normally (frequent small portions). Thankfully, had no diarrhea.

Nausea, confusion, dizziness, even on a minimal dose. Side effect last for days after stopping.

Horrible pin and needle pains along with numbness, muscle and joint pains, headaches and nausea are just a few of the side effects. Side effects were slow to start but continued to get progressively more severe.Due to other health conditions, other issues were investigated first. At the end of two months, I was very ill and unable to preform activities of daily living. I was assured Zetia was safe and did not have the same side effects as statins. For me the side effects were just as bad, if not worse.

The comments on this site had me so afraid I almost missed a great thing! I couldn't imagine getting any stupider then I already was. I finally got the nerve up to take 25 mg. Didn't feel a thing. Had to take 50 mg. Got tired. Slept good that night and had better mood, clearer thoughts, all around better.Called Dr. upped to 75 still not at max dose. Just hoping Dr. won't stop right before the miracle because I can tell this is the drug for me. Except the weightloss thing. Taken the obession of alcohol and drugs away. Lifted the haze of depression slightly for the first time since I don't know when. I feel sorry for those who have such bad side effects.

I normally get headaches and dizziness from allergies, so it is tough to know if any of this is caused by asacol too. But really, no other noteworthy side effects
