After recieving the shot, I became very depressed. I have no sex drive at all, and I cannot get aroused. Me and my boyfriend had been together for a year before I got the shot and our relationship was great, not perfect but pretty close. And now we aren't together because of how depressed I am. I get mad at him for absolutely nothing. I feel justified in the moment but then when I think about it later I realize how irrational it was. I've completely stopped hanging out with friends I used to hang out with on a daily basis, I sleep every chance I get because I am so incredibly tired all the time. I've hadsevere back and knee pain. I never really thought that the shot was the cause of these problems, but after reading all the stories about the negative side effects I'm pretty sure depo has caused these issues. The one good thing about depo is that it does prevent pregnancy. A birth control that lowers your sex drive, whats the point in that? Me and my ex used to sleep together everyother

Had unidentified parasites for 3 years after very severe food poisoning in Venice. Finally found- i did through Metametrix testing (don't bother with stoopid doctor testing- they only test say five cells to metametrix 5000! Also did further testing through doc, once he belived me and it showed up there as well!!) Did 7 days, 3x200mg, was fine. Now doing 7 days 3 x 500mg and certainly feeling side effects. Please email me and tell me if they go away soon after i finish!!!! Really struggling on 3rd day of 2nd lot. It will all be worth it if it goes away, 3 years of extreme gut pain, being afraid of food and feeling generally rotten, its great to have a reason and a cure..hopefully!!! think positive, think positive, think positive haha.......I'll get back to you all once i'm finished!

My doctor recommended i take this medicine to stop my period which had lasted for 3 weeks. I was prescribed 10 pills for 10 days and on the day my period stopped, I was instructed to stop taking the meds. Well after 7 days my period stopped and when I discontinued taking the pills all the side effects began to happen. The extreme fatigue without being able to fall into a deep sleep took a toll on me. I had to leave work because i couldn't concentrate and i felt unhappy. This is a medicine I would not wish anyone to take unless it is a life or death situation. Please ask your doctor for other alternatives before agreeing to take this medication.

Strattera mostly benefited me and enabled me to take a daytime job. Previously I preferred to work at night because I was almost impossible to wake up. I did have jobs in the morning but I would never hear my alarms going off. My work life suffered, personal relationships suffered because I would stay up all night long. When I started taking Strattera I noticed instantly that I could discipline myself to go to bed at a decent time and getting up in the morning was SO much easier. I was able to concentrate and focus on the task at hand. My friends said that I seemed calmer and that I didn't interrupt and "go all over the place" with my conversations. Life was good. But then in April 2007 I experienced some shortness of breath while at work and ended up going to the ER with a resting heart rate of 132. Maybe a few months later I weaned myself off of the drug.. with side effects mentioned earlier, but my heart rate continued to stay high. I have since had to carry an albuterol inhaler at all times and I STILL experience random shortness of breath more times than I would like. As I write this, I have been battling with an episode and plan to see a Pulmonary Specialist about these prolonged symptoms I have experienced some 18 months after discontinuing Strattera.

No side effects that I know of except when I get a minor cut I have to treat is seriously every time. That is very tiresome. I don't stop bleeding! Oh, also bruises appear both magically and take too long to go away.
