This drug really helped me - I was me again! The anxiety and panic gone! As well as the awful pms symptoms. I went off 2 months ago at my Dr's urging because I was doing so well- But I really feel much better and "even" when I'm on it. So, now I'm working through the side effects again. I pray that it will work as well!!

Almost immediate relief from.pain. I can walk relatively normally again. Main side effect was calling in to pub on way home to celebrate. Had a very large glass of wine. Then 4 gin and tonics. So loss of inhibitions.

After taking Topamax with great results for almost 2 years, the past 2 months I've been having terrible side effects: Double vision and extreme fatigue. I recently was on a vegan diet for a few months but went off that thinking it was that. It didn't seem to be the diet. I went to my primary Dr who did bloodwork on me to rule out basic problems and there were none. The only thing I could figure out was my medications. I contacted my Dr who prescribed the Topamax and he reduced my dosage from 100mg to 50 immediately.

To those who are having problems, I am sorry. But please realize that those side effects are identified. It simply means this wonderful drug may not be for you. For those of without side effects, it's a godsend.
