I had no side effects. Maybe my body blocks benzos. I had tried Valium 15 mg. it was like drinking water. Before my appt I took the Xanax until I felt some relief from my severe panic attack. I was up to 4 mg when they called me back, maybe I needed Haldol. Or Thorozine!

At first no side effects, then my ENT doc increased dosage because of sinusitis and I began experiencing horrible pain behind my eyes, headaches and dizziness. This went on for 6 months. I decided to quit taking it and for a few days felt dazed and had the sweats but now feel normal. I went to 3 different doctors for these symptoms and none of them said it could be from Nasacort AQ!!!! I put 2 and 2 together and quit on my own.

My doctor prescribed this medication to help me sleep and to hopefully curb my anxiety enough so I would be able to eat well again (my anxiety takes away my appetite and in some cases will not let me eat at all). I took this one night and had the worst side effects of any medicine I've been on--and I've tried a lot. It didn't make me tired, yet the next day I was extremely groggy. I couldn't eat at all since I was so nauseous. I took a small bite of a muffin and had to spit it out because I felt I was going to throw up. I have a headache advil won't cure and my eyes are sore and tired. I constantly feel like I have to use the bathroom and am quite gassy for some reason. I only took it one night, but I'm not trying it again. I can't afford these side effects when I'm already having trouble eating and I have a 3 year old child to take care of. I've been basically bedridden the whole day.

The first year of being on it was fine: acne went away, light regular periods, and seemingly no side effects. After being on it for 4 years now, I realized that my mental and emotional state has changed severely. Before the pill, I was confident, happy, outgoing, carefree but now I find myself with depression, anxiety, extreme mood swings, highly emotional, and mentally unstable for the last 2 years. My boyfriend had also noticed the change and has dealt with it. Also my sex drive has decreased so much that after 4 years of being on it, it made me look up reviews about the pill. Not surprised to find all the other women having the same issues as me! I think the pill affects people in different ways but I think my body has gotten so used to the pill that it hasn't worked the same since the first two of the four ears I've been on it. Definitely getting off the pill to see if I go back to my old happy outgoing cheerful self. Wish me luck!
