Some stomach cramps for several days when I started but no side effects now

I was precribed ultracet after a bad car accident in which I herniated 3 discs in my back and neck. It alleviates nerve pain very well, although it takes a little while to act. I don't mind the side effects, although I can't take ultracet at work because it does make me a little slow in the head. I refused the usual narcotics and I'm glad that this gives me a respite from the pain when I need it - and actually gives my muscles a chance to relax from the cramping caused by the nerve issues - without all the dependence issues associated with other drugs.

Took this for GERD. Had squeezing chest pain. Blood pressure increased, anxiety.Took 2 weeks to figure out this was causing problems. Tried generic. Then just quit. Doctor and pharmacist said they never heard of this side effect. But it happened to me.

I had vivid "dreams" and was a little confused upon coming off the versed, but I was not uncomfortable or scared. I had no lingering side-effects.

I went straight into a mianic episode, and crashed into a depression. Even though I had been more depressed before in my life, Topamax caused me to have suicidal ideation and action and my P-doc told me to stop taking it. The thoughts were still there after stopping the drug so I ended up spending a week in the psych ward of the local hospital so that I could be monitored on a new medication. I also have to continue with partial hospitalization for 5 to 10 days. This drug did not work for me. Don't put up with severe side effects like this, they could be deadly. Talk to your doctor. There are many other drugs out there that can be just as effective. I am so far doing much better on my new medication.
