I have been generic macrobid for 5 months because of recurrent UTI infections 50 mg daily I was ok no side effects but now have a terrible thrush in my mouth which the doctor thinks is from the antibiotic has anyone else experienced this after a prolonged use of macrobid I'm having a hard time getting rid of it have tried diflucan and nystatin now the doctor put me on some lozenges called clotrimazole I have to suck 1 of these 5 times a day. Boy I'm really not looking forward to thihs but I need to get rid of this thrush(yeast infection) its terrible

It can carry deadly cardiac side effects. Seriously, I'm not a prude, but don't take it unless you have a prescription.

IF A DRUG IS UNSTABLE AS COUMADIN IS, THE PATRIENT BECOMES THE SAME WAY. FEAR, ANXIETY, LACK OF KNOWLEDGE ALL CAUSE SIDE EFFECTS AS WELL AS THE DRUG. EXHAUSTION IS EITHER FROM THE DRUG OR WORRY. DRS ARE LACKING IN THEIR EXPLANATIONS. WHAT'S NEW????

I am using birth control medicine to control symptoms of PCOS, and was diagnosed nearly 10 years ago. Due to my complications described in the side effects column, I have stopped taking this pill and am now awaiting the results of blood testing to determine if another kind will be beneficial. Prior to being on Loestrin, I was on Yasmin, and only changed because I was looking to have a shorter period. I would suggest to anyone looking to change medications (or to start one) that they stay in contact with their physician and keep them apprised of any and all changes, no matter how small. I ignored my symptoms and did not think that my problems were tied to the pill. I've now spent more time and money to fix everything than I'd like to admit, so please listen to your body. Good luck!
