Paxil CR has helped me through a very difficult 3 months in my family life and work life.Prior to taking Paxil I was depressed a few times in my life and took Effexor several years ago for 4 months. It was very effective as well but no as much as the Paxil CR. I had similar side effects on Effexor, but was able to achieve orgasm easier than on Paxil CR.Paxil CR has helped me with:1. What I call "taken the edge off", not every little thing bothers me anymore.2. I've become more active and have been able to overcome any social networking issues I have, basically I can relax around people in most situations now.3. Greatly helped me through a difficult situation in my family.4. I've been able to sleep full nights since taking this, anxiety and worry had me up most nights and I was only getting 2-3 hours sleep before starting Paxil CR.5. Increased sex drive. My wife is happy with my increased libido, although I have problems with orgasm.I think that most of the side effects that I suffer now will dissipate with time and Paxil CR has worked well for me.

I have read through most of the ratings on this page. I have not experienced any side effects. I am on 80mg per day, but have enough on my rx to go to 160mg per day if needed for breakthrough pain. Some days, I havent taken any, and havent felt any side effects or withdrawls. Although, im sure if I went more than 1 day, I would feel it, I know my body is already addicted to some extent. However, it is worth it to me, for the break in pain I get.

Is anyone else experiencing bloating and water retention? I read two comments that mentioned bloating but I feel like I'm retaining a lot of water. Also, the comments on this website helped me tremendously since the traditional medical sources on the web didn't list any of the side effects that I'm experiencing nor is it stated on the bottle. The dentist or the pharmacist failed to mention this either.

I'm 27 and don't have any kids. I guess Dilantin is one of the best seizure medications to be on if you are pregnant, so I'll stay on it. Very few side effects on unborn babies. Side effects on me aren't too bad but my gums are quite swollen. I haven't had surgury to fix that yet.

I was very nervous about taking this medicine due to the "dopamax" effect that is so commonly reported. However, I was mostly interested in in for the wight loss side effect. That being said, I am not overweight... and most people would think it was absurd for me to be taking it for that reason. I'm 5'7" 140 lbs. So far, no weight loss. Needless to say I am disappointed, but I haven't reached my therapeutic dose so there may still be hope. Anyway... I am also taking it because I am possibly showing symptoms of bipolar disorder. None of the side effects have been bad at all really. The most noticeable is the pins/needles in my feet. I suppose it should be noted that I am also taking 450 mg Wellbutrin.
