It has been over three months, and I still experience most of these side effects. I only took one tablet.

It helped me immediatly. I was on augmentin before I began taking this drug and wasn't getting better and had horrible diarrhea. Within two hours of taking zithromax I felt MUCH MUCH better. I don't think any drug is a wonder drug...I think they all have a price to pay in side effects. I was lucky however and ended up with some stomach cramping and a bit of dizziness. I had very bad vertigo the second day but I really think that was because I was being treated for a sinus infection and my frontal sinus was finally draining. I have a feeling it was draining to my ears. Other than that who can complain about feeling completely better?!

It needs to be taken off the market and all of us suffering from the side effects need to file a lawsuit against the makers I’ve been off for three days still sick as a dog

I am now doing better and have some rotator cuff issues of the right shoulder but it is improving. please read all side effects prior to going on any med. I did not and I feel stupid. If it wasn't for the fda warning on cnn i would never have did research.

I've been on Effexor XR for 4 years now, 225mg. It completely alleviates the anxiety which is one reason why, after gaining 100 lbs and enduring disgustingly excessive sweating, I'm still taking it. After three years of calm, I'd hoped to slowly get off the drug to see if I could manage the anxiety myself(and wanted to lose some of this weight as it exacerbates my arthritis among other problems.) I went through a long period of tapering off with no trouble. However, two days after going from 37.5 down to nothing, I had flu-like symptoms (dizzy, vomiting, diarrhea,) deep depression and uncontrollable sobbing. After 4 days of this I went back to the doctor for more Effexor. Three doctors later, the first I've heard of these side effects was today, looking them up on the internet, and it appears that nearly everyone trying to get off Effexor goes through the same thing, and it lasts a long time.
