I was scared to take the drug after reading all the posts, but I would have killed myself without it. I can tolerate the side effects to feel like my old self again. I am lucky that it works for me. It was like someone throwing a switch.

Depression, exhaustion, fatigue, nausea, can't think straight,extreme headache, ringing in my ears, there are too many to type. AND my pressure which had been well-controlled on Tekturna went sky high - but the cardiologist said keep taking Cardizem anyway and my already low HR shot up. My GP said that he would consider this to be a Rx of last resort for me and told me to just ride out the side effects, that they would be gone in a couple more days

Before Cryselle I was very fit and in good shape. I also had perfect skin. I never had cramps, migraines, spotting or heavy periods. I was energetic and always happy. After being on Cryselle for over a year, I have gained over 30 pounds. I anticipated weight gain since that's a major side effect of most birth controls, so I changed my eating habits shortly after starting Cryselle. I started eating healthier and being more active but that didn't help with the rapid weight gain. I now have stretch marks all over my body. I also have terrible acne all over my face, back, and chest. I have migraines 24/7 and they get worse when I'm on my period. The first period I had after starting Cryselle, I had the most excruciating cramps I've ever experienced. I thought my body was just getting used to the pills so I shook it off. I still get extremely terrible and debilitating cramps to this day. Over the counter pills, especially made for Menstrual cramps, do absolutely nothing to ease the pain.

I,m very sensitive to alot of Antibiotics.I hate to take them and wont if i can do anything else but i suffer with chronic sinus problems so sometimes there just isnt an alternative.All the nasal flushing and spraying in the world wont do anything.This Antibiotic doesnt cause me any problems except by maybe day 2 or 3 i'll get some stomach cramping .I can live with that. I was given Biaxin and Avalox at one time..Now those are some poweful drugs...I had a severe reaction to Biaxin and ended up in the ER.. Avalox gave me some pretty severe side effects within 45 minutes. So for me the Z pack and another one ,Vantin dont give me so much trouble.

As I read these comments, I decided to cast away any anticipation of side effects. I kept an open mind & remained neutral as far as pinpointing any side effects. I have noticed only one that bothers me. I grind my teeth occasionally, or my jaw will clench now and again.
