Aside from the nausea this was a great drug for the first 20 months. It took a long time to figure out what was causing the horrible acid reflux that come on suddenly and cough, but I'm convinced it's a side effect of the Lexapro. It's a great drug for short term… As in a year, but I would be cognizant of side effects.

I took Cytoxan in the 80's as a teenager with Wegener's. At the time, it was (in conjunction Prednisone) the only treatment for Wegener's. It cured my Wegener's, but I have since discovered that I'm Azoospermic (infertile) and unable to have children. This is a very serious side effect that should be considered for men when taking Cytoxan. There are now other medications for the treatment of Wegener's. I recently had a flare of the disease and have had some success on Cellcept and ALOT of success with RITUXAN.

I started taking provera in March of 2009 because I was having very heavy periods with severe cramping(like miscarriage) and they were becoming very irregular. My doctor suggested I try provera for a few months and it should straighten everything out. I took it for a few months(2 or 3) and decided to get off of it because I was concerned with the side effects that other women have had. Once again, I began having heavy bleeding and cramping, so I got back on it. Never did my doctor tell me I should only stay on this for 6 months. In late July, I took my usual dose(1 pill a day the last 10 days of the month). My period started for a few days, then stopped. It started again around the 15th of the month and stayed until I started taking the provera around the 20th of August. Now its the 20th of September and I still have not started, but I have been cramping off and on for several days. I had my annual check up with my gyn today, and he told me that Provera thins out your uterine lining and it's probably too thin to have a period now. He said not to take them anymore(hadn't planned on it) and in a few months he'll check my hormone levels to see what is going on. Now I'm wishing I hadn't taken them for so long because of the cancer and other risks associated with them. I am anxious to see if I will actually be able to lose the weight that I gained because I have never had so much trouble losing weight before.

After taking Crestor for 1 1/2 months, experienced heart palpitations, agitation and loss of temper in stores and workplace (new to me). Decided to see if others have these side effects. Seems to be the case. Will be talking to my doctor in a few weeks for other options. Diet doesn't seem to work. High cholesterol is my only risk factor for heart disease.

I was recently prescribed 40MG once a day to help treat my panic attacks before I wasn't taking anything for my anxiety I would experience a fear where I would think I'm going to die and become really paranoid of going out in case someone will harm me I would get a racing heart beat and start to sweat and shake it was a scary feeling I thought I was going to have a heart attack and every time I was in social situations I would start to feel my anxiety attacks coming on it is a scary experience having anxiety since being on this medication I feel more spaced out and relaxed and can control my anxiety very well I experience some common side effects these are slight dizziness when I stand up tiredness and mild nausea but apart from that I am having a good experience on this medication
