No bad side effects. In fact, I haven't had a kidney stone since I started taking this med (might be coincidence). I am also an avid runner and have seen race time improvements since I started taken this med (also might be coincidence).

Bloated horribly, gained 13 pounds in one month, gas, helped the burning pain but not worth the side effects

Side effects: headache and weight gsin

I've had IBS-A for over two years now. Recently I came down with more severe cramps; for 8 months I was c-dominant lately it has been alternate d & c in the same morning, very confusing. I read about Bentyl on this and other sites and knew it was a "crap shoot". It did relieve cramp some but the side effects weren't worth the result. At least the Rx was cheap insurance; I doubt if I'll try it again.

I took my 1st dose and had rapid relief. 2nd dose and a few hours later had vomiting and continued nausea throughout next day. Day after had shortness of breath, bloating and anxiety. Felt a little better 3rd day but did not put my symptoms down to the Vagifem so took my 3rd dose. Following day felt very anxious also depressed at the weight gain of 3kg. Next day decided to reread side effects and was like tic tic tic... I had many but the most serious was the mood and depression ( which I never have experienced) I rang my GP back who was surprised but told me to stop taking nonetheless. The dark mood passed after 3days The shortness of breath/asthma took several days to subside. I would definitely think twice before taking but just make sure you are well aware of the side effects because they can come on strong and fast. Something I have never experienced with any other medication I have taken in the past. I currently take Estrogel & Mirena for my HRT and no issues at all!
