If you search for essential fatty acid deficiency, you will find high blood pressure as an effect. Try a suppliment of EFA such as Newmans Own Salad Oil and see if that helps your BP Very inexpensive and no side effects.

The only side effects I experienced were the hot flashes and slight headaches in the beginning, but that's about it.
