Took 300 mg for four weeks then increased to 450mg as the first dose didn't seem to be working. Now, after two weeks at the higher dose (450mg) I am experiencing more bouts of depression and anxiety. I am trying to look at it objectively, hoping that things will improve. I switched from Celexa to Wellbrtrin XL because the Celexa was affecting my sex drive. On the plus side I find I am having no problem sticking to a new diet and exercise program. On the negative side I seem to tear up easily. I find it quite suprising that something that is supposed to help can have so many adverse side effects. I plan to give it another month and then see if things have improved.

I usually don't ask about side effects but I suffer from general anxiety even on a good day and this was the worst anxiety I have ever felt. Continue to advocate for yourself and ask all questions.

AMAZING! This is the FISRT time I have been pain free from my endo. I didn't think it was possible. Yes, I am dealing with slight side effects but ultimately my freedom of pain overcame the side effects. I've tired pretty much every type of birth control, and I was also on Lupron for a year. Speaking of Lupron, now that is a drug that should be banned! I forgot what it was like to not have pain until I was on Depo. As far as all these side effects people are having..here's a solution: exercise and healthy eating habits alone will help with weight gain AND depression.

the first 3 days I did not notice any side effects besides being in a good mood, the 4th day, I started taking 2 pills and that is when I noticed big side effects, insonmia, nightmares/vivid dreams, feeling flat, loss of appetite, loss or excitement for anything, feeling spaced out, difficulty concentrating and legs and feet going numb for a short period of time. Will go back to one pill a day, it is helping for the cigarette craving.
