I really don't have any side effects yet that I know of.

I didn't have side effects while I was on the shot. I love the shot no periods was the best part. But when I stop taking the shot the periods began. I stop taking the shot around the end of November and for the whole month of December my period was on and for the months that followed. My breast was also sore.

I always read the side effects of every drug I take, but the side effects of this drug slowly crept up on me. When I would complain about how I felt, my psychiatrist just thought I was "not getting with the program". Only took it 3 months but will never, never take it again. In those 3 months I have seriously strained every relationship I have. It is truly hell to go back and try to apologize for everything you have said and done because of a medication and know that everyone just chalks it up to further evidence of how crazy you are. Be very careful of this drug, it is very, very subtle. If I could rate it lower than a 1 I would.

After having a Lap, still had Endro, so my Dr recommended Lupron. Like everyone else, I read the horror stories about the drug, and was terrified to take it. I knew it was my only chance at being able to have kids one day, so I agreed to take it for 6 months. I have had a 1 month injection and a 3 month injection (which made it nice that I didn't have to go every month for an injection) I've read alot that after a month, girls have had bad side effects and quit Lupron. Well, the 1st month is when your body is getting used to it, and it's probably the worst month. I haven't had any hot flashes or night sweats. The biggest side effect has been moodiness. After taking it, I got depressed and was very edgy. So my Dr put me on Wellbutron, an anti-depressant. I didn't like the thought of being on it, but it's made such a difference, and now I've never been happier! I had very severe cramping and pains for many years, and I've had absolutely NO pain since I've been on this drug, for the exception of one cramp about the 2nd month in. There was a month that I didn't have much sex drive, and dryness has been an issue. I've had light spotting, and my 3rd (and now my 4th) month into it, I had a week of heavy bleeding. I found out from my Dr that "breakthrough bleeding" can be a side effect from this drug. I did gain 20 pounds. I hate it, but most will go away once I'm off the drug. Not everyone has the same side effects, but overall, I'm extremely happy that I went through with

First and far most, after reading all the horrible things that was felt and said about this antibiotic, I was scared to take start taking it! I decided after 2 weeks later after I had the prescription filled, to start! Well it like I was waiting for severe side effects to happen, and it was NOTHING compared to all the " hoopla" that I read about. Bottom line, it's one of the top of the line antibiotics for UTI, and it worked well for me!
