Diclofenac for Pain Reviews

Voltaren (diclofenac) "Voltaren Gel has given me back the ability to walk without pain. I have had heel spurs and plantar fasciitis and bursitis in my heel for about 20 years. I began using Voltaren Gel about 10 months ago and am so thankful that I have not had any significant pain for the past six months. I also try to wear only shoes that have very high arches. With the Voltaren Gel, I massage it all around my foot and over the top and bottom as per the directions. Great stuff!"

Voltaren (diclofenac) "Voltaren 75 mg for knee inflammation. Stay away! This drug nearly killed me! I am an overall healthy 39-year-old male. Side effects: bloody diarrhea, tarry stool, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, faint, lightheaded, dizzy, racing heart, passed out and fell twice (gastric bleed)! I believe I was on the verge of a heart attack. I cannot believe this drug is still available! No relief whatsoever."

Voltaren (diclofenac) "After suffering for 3 months post op joint pain for a torn medial meniscus, I was started on Voltaren pills, and within 12 hours, I was pain-free and walked up stairs again—a miracle! I had also developed plantar fasciitis in the opposite foot from hobbing, and it immediately was gone also! I can tell after 12 hours when it is wearing off because the pain starts to return."

Voltaren (diclofenac) "I've been on Vicodin, Percocet, etc. My body doesn't react to those. I was diagnosed with a cervical strain and was put on this. Absolutely love it for muscle pain. I have arthritis and fibromyalgia, and this medicine is great. Also no side effects."

Voltaren (diclofenac) "I have spondylolisthesis and I have tried every type of medicine you could possibly think of. My doctor has put me on antidepressants, muscle relaxers, Norco, just about anything. I was constantly in pain. My back hurt all the time. I couldn't even do simple things like sweep the floor or do laundry. I went to see my orthopedic surgeon and she put me on Voltaren 75mg and I feel like a new person. I have not had any back pain whatsoever. I highly recommend this medicine. I can actually do everything now with absolutely no back pain. Thank God."

Voltaren (diclofenac) "I have pain in my hands, elbows, back, knees, and heels. This medication was prescribed to me by my rheumatologist, 75 mg twice a day; I have only been taking one a day. I have been taking it for a very long time with no side effects whatsoever. I cannot tell you that I have no pain at all. I just know that I would not be able to keep my full-time job without this medication. I also would not be able to have any quality of life. I know in the near future I will have to take two a day, I am hoping I do as well. :)"

"Had an MCL (medial collateral ligament of the knee) tear that I had been nursing for 4 months. Pain was severe at times, and while I could generally walk, the knee remained swollen, and I was stiff. Nighttime was the worst, as I could not find a way to lay without it hurting. Called a telemedicine doctor who prescribed diclofenac 75 mg twice a day for two weeks and then once per day as needed. Within the second day, the swelling and pain decreased drastically, and now, after a week, there is almost no pain. I have a full range of motion and no stiffness in the joint. Hoping this continues, as I had almost given up my chances of golfing again and thought for sure I would require surgery. I've encountered no side effects at this time."

Voltaren (diclofenac) "I hurt every morning where I can't move easily and I have tried so many things but nothing worked. Then I read about voltaren & thought well it can't hurt to try it. I'm so happy I tried it as it start to work fast & you're not any pain at all though out the day. It really truly works fast & it lasts, so if you are in pain don't look any further buy this. I'm telling you u will be pain free so don't waste your money on other stuff that doesn't work. Buy this & u will be as happy as I am."

Zorvolex (diclofenac) "Using Zorvolex for overall joint pain, and it’s a lifesaver. It has completely changed my quality of life. Taking three 35mg per day. For those of you having trouble paying for the med, I have full coverage PPO insurance. The drug needed preauthorized and would still cost me $150 a month. I contacted the manufacturer, and since my insurance doesn’t cover more of the cost, I can get this for free every month at Walgreens. I just have to call for a code. Worth trying if you haven’t!"

Voltaren (diclofenac) "The side effects are brutal. Stomach aches, nausea, bloody stools, headache, diarrhea, increased blood pressure, just to name a few. This medicine did give me some relief from pain at the cost of the side effects. Be careful with this medicine, I won't take this med anymore."

"I’ve had fibromyalgia for over 8 years now and some arthritis, severe neck, shoulder, and back pain. After a while being on pain meds and all types of other medications I’ve tried over the years, I didn’t get much relief. So I was prescribed diclofenac. I went from a pain level of 9 to a 2 the first time I took it! I can do more than I could before! So glad something finally helps ease the pain."

Zorvolex (diclofenac) "This is an update since my last post. I took Zorvolex for 1 month. Experienced only one side effect - slight increase in blood sugar. But it's finally under control. I can sit and watch TV. Take a brisk walk around the park. I still err on the cautious side and wear my back brace during any physical activity like grocery shopping, gardening, vacuuming, washing the car, etc. I occasionally have to stop, stretch, and rest my back. I'm 63 years old, and this is as close to normal as my back is going to get. That, my friends, is good enough for me!"

Zipsor (diclofenac) "I have been on many pain/anti-inflammatory medications to help with rheumatoid arthritis, plantar fasciitis, and a torn tendon in my shoulder. It is the fastest acting and most effective pain relief I have tried (comparing to Duexis, hydrocodone, prednisone, tramadol). It does not cause stomach upset like other NSAIDs, and the only side effect is sleepiness, but a quick nap and pain is much better and no grogginess."

Zorvolex (diclofenac) "My doctor prescribed this for inflammation in my lower back area, I have been on it for one week. My shoulder and neck pain is gone almost completely, and my back feels a lot better. As of today, it's been 5 days I have been on this product. The info says it takes two weeks... am hoping it just gets better. Very impressed."

Voltaren (diclofenac) "I got this from the VA right before it was dumped on to the public. It did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for the pain. I may have been using petroleum jelly. It's a waste of money. Thing is, the accompanying information listed on the sheet had a number of side effects listed. Somehow, they seemed to have disappeared."

Voltaren (diclofenac) "Had gout on and off now for 20 years and always used Voltaren 75 at the first signs of an attack. I take one tablet and the symptoms are usually gone in about 3 to 4 hours. I have been to doctors on several occasions when I ran out of Voltaren and asked for Voltaren on prescription, but always told that they are not good to take and always given rubbish that does not work. I normally go on holiday to Spain and get pills over the counter at the local pharmacy."

Zipsor (diclofenac) "I've been taking Zipsor for hip pain for about 4 years. Yes, it can be rough on the stomach, but a daily Prilosec is the remedy for that. Without the Zipsor, I have a difficult time functioning normally as the pain can get intense from inflammation. The only trouble I've come across is my doctor reluctant to prescribe long term. I've not found another form of NSAID that works as well, and I've tried many! As long as I can get the prescription and insurance will pay, I will always use this product. It's a lifesaver!"

"I have arthritis in my upper spine, and lower back Was taking meloxicam that helped a little. After a year and a half I started getting much more back pain, it would shoot down my hip and leg, and the top of my spine/neck hurt all the time. Went to an orthopedic, he told me I have spinal stenosis and that added to my pain. He started me on diclofenac 75 mg 2xs a day. It worked pretty much right away. My neck is totally pain free, my lower back and hip is 95% or better pain free. Granted I’ve only started taking this for 5 days, hope it continues!"

Voltaren (diclofenac) "I have heel spurs and find every few weeks the pain is unbearable. This is the only thing that relieves the pain. And I take 2, and that seems to fix me for a couple of days. Not sure why that is, but as long as it works, that's the main thing."

"I have pancreatic cancer and have been on many opioids for the pain that haven’t been helpful. My pain management doctor suggested I try diclofenac and so far (1 month) it is working well. It takes the pain away completely for nearly 12 hours. I don’t how well it would work for other cancer patients but it has been a godsend for me."

Zorvolex (diclofenac) "I have severe neck and shoulder pain. I normally take 800 mg of ibuprofen but on days that my pain is so bad that even that doesn't even help I'll take this Zorvolex medication. It works extremely well and allows me to continue with my day. I highly recommend."

Zipsor (diclofenac) "I was in agony for weeks and barely able to walk. Absolutely nothing stopped my sciatica pain, and I tried everything. Within one hour of taking Zipsor, the pain was gone. I don't know what's in it, but it literally saved my life. Thank you for your wonderful product."

Zipsor (diclofenac) "I have suffered for several years with increasing pain from degenerative disc disease and fibromyalgia, and now I am starting with arthritis. My rheumatologist prescribed Zipsor for me at the end of May, and I felt the difference right away. Six weeks later, I am comfortable, and many days pain-free, and I have more energy than I have had since my teens! (I am sixty-one now.) Zipsor has given me back my life."

"I have been diagnosed with severe fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis, and degenerative arthritis. I have been in such horrific pain for so long that quite often I cry from it. I have taken narcotics off and on for other reasons, and they did help some. I refuse to take them for control. OTC meds do not help. I have had one hip replacement and am having the other one soon. My rheumatologist gave me a script this past week for Diclofenac Sod EC 75 mg tab 2x day. It is my miracle! Absolutely NO pain, bones, joints, skin, muscles, anywhere! I can wake up with no pain or stiffness and walk immediately straight up! I feel wonderful! Praise God for this med!"

Voltaren (diclofenac) "I have an undiagnosed arthritic condition in my upper back and neck. I've been to a pain specialist that threw strong drugs at me that didn't work. I'm seeing a rheumatologist for a diagnosis (possibly fibromyalgia, my GP said) in a couple of months, but my general practitioner has been treating me till then. I've tried three different prescription medications, and they did nothing. The second day on this medication, I started getting some relief in my back. It's not 100% gone, but it really eases my pain. The unfortunate side effect with any NSAID is thin blood, resulting in bruising. I have a bleeding autoimmune disorder, so it's not the best combo. But I feel like as a first, there's promising relief. I hope it continues."
