Nurse put patch on b4 surgery, all she said was it reduces nausea and vomiting, by,the end of the day, I had a blinding headache, eyes were so dry they hurt, and waa more disoriented now than I was waking up after surgery.AlmoST two days later, I cannot drink enough watet to and yet barely able to Pee, considering I had a kidney stone removed, peeing would be good I would think, noticed this was a side effect of the patch, MU head still hurts, unable to eat. Depakote has been my go-to drug when the lithium just isn't "holding down the fort". Have had to recently restart due to family problems. Depakote is a good drug for mood stabilization, but with side-effects, which really, any drug has.

Severe stomach cramps and diarea. Headache and drowsiness. Only took two pills. Will never take again due to the severity of the side effects. Cramps so bad that I felt like removing my intestines. Very scary pills... I'm done with pills...forever.

On the Purdue brand I felt NO side effects, I have been able to return to work and school and have a family, they have JUST switched me over to Teva generic, I am having severe stomach cramps, nothing is helping them go away. i can barely eat a thing and i am missing going out right now w/my family because of the pain I'm in from it:(

Took Yasmin for years with little trouble and just recently switched to YAZ. So far I hate the side effects and I am not sure that I want to wait 3 or 4 months to see if they subside.
