I had to taper off dose from 150 mg to the 75. because it seems to affect my vision.My sex drive has almost gone and I have gained weight and raised blood pressure.This drug has worked for my depression but dito with the side effects with trying to come off it. Was it worth it? I cant really say except I am still alive to tell the tale! I have lost all motivation for what I really cared about in life and this truly bothers me (sometimes!)I just seem to be in a limbo state but at least I can cope with the ebb and flow for now but I am going to try coming off it when I dare!

This pill did not give me any other side effects however high triglycerides can cause other dterimental health problems such as pancreatitis. Please make sure youtalk about all these issues with your doctor before going on this or any other pill.

The side effects were not a huge deal, but I will let my doctor know about them if I ever need an antibiotic again. There are so many alternatives. I would not want to take Zithromax again, just incase my pains, diarrhea, rash, and swimmy-headed feelings were all caused from taking the Z-Pak.

Because of the side-effects I was not able to have a job or study or have any social activities. Luckily after 18 months of being off it, those are slowly coming back again. I udes to be a hardworking physical-therapist and do sports 6 hours a week minimum (!) and be VERY active in the social-sence, that all changed to the other extrem due to Depo Provera. If the hormonal dosage is too much for your body it will start building up in your body and cause disbalances allover causing all these side-effects, so don't start on it unless there is a reason why you can not take any other form of contraceptive.
